  1. Let me start by saying I have already searched for my answers and have found a ton of information. However, some of the information I have found has contradicted itself so I am throwing up this post to iron out the details. I have a 1995 Legacy Wagon awd I want to lift. I don't plan to wheel it at all, just want some clearance for the snow and fire roads. From what I read it sounds like the Forester struts and coils will give me 2/2.5 Inch lift from just suspension. I have read that it will be a direct bolt and have also read that I need to drill holes. Hoping I can get a confirmed answer on that. Next was the trailing arm. I know its not necessary but I might as well do it while I am in there. Is it the trailing arm, the trailing arm bracket, or both that I need to put the wheel in the right place. Lastly, hoping some of you with experience can chime in. Any issue with getting the vehicle aligned, tire wear, or component wear with this setup? Thanks for the help guys!
  2. I found a used oem one on ebay. They are expensive new and pretty hard to find.
  3. Replaced the door lock timer and everything is working as it should now.
  4. I do not have a lock button on the driver's door. I think I may ja e figured it out. Behind the passenger air vent there is a door lock timer unit. Little black box attached to a hanger. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and the doors started working for a bit. Eventually they stopped again and I could hear the unit clicking. I went ahead and ordered a new one. I'll let you guys know if that fixes the issue once replaced.
  5. I guess the actuator (or servo) is what I meant when I said the mechanism. I guess 1st thing to do would be pull the panel off and see if it is the actuator that is failing.
  6. I have a new to me 95 Legacy. When I stick the key in and turn all the doors will lock but when I turn the key to unlock, only the drivers door will unlock. I searched on a couple forums but could not find the same problem I am having. Does anyone know where to start? My first go was going to remove the door panel and have a look at the lock/unlock mechanism on the drivers door. Any help is much appreciated.
