  1. Update - upgraded to Spotify "Very High" quality music streaming. Now soundstage is better than ITunes library.
  2. Did this today. Awesome Mod. Have a 06 Legacy Limited. Use Positap (red size) to tap into Lime Green wire. Double clicking was so annoying.
  3. Also want to note that the 2006 Legacy Limited stock stereo CD sounds better than my wife's 2011 Legacy 2.5i. Radio reception is better in 2011 though.
  4. Receive Jazzy Aux Port this week and installed today. Since I ordered on 5/23/2020, he fulfilled the order in less than a week. Was able to install the simple install in less than 2 hours. Fed the 3.5mm cable near the ignition switch for a cleaner look and rather than punching anymore holes in the center console (see pics). Thanks for the quick shipment Nathan. I bought a used 2006 Legacy Limited and wanted to upgrade the sound system. Added a Fosgate amp and subwoofer in the trunk and then added this Aux in solution. The stereo sounds amazing with Aux in off my Iphone 6. I compared the same song (CD disk and Itunes music library) and the sound quality and volumes levels were pretty much the same. No decibel drop-off like folks earlier in the thread. I get decibel and sound quality drop off with Spotify but I expected that since I observe the same when listening with my headphones off the iPhone. Lucky for me, no need for GLI or headphone amp. I was worried about compromised sound quality by using those. I'm a bit of a budget audiophile. Have Nad, Rotel, and Velodyne equipment at home and lots of headphones (Grado, Beyerdynamic and Audio Technica). Added Fosgate 400 Watt RMS 12" subwoofer (P2D4-12) and 250 watt amplifier (R250X1). Bought package with subwoofer box and all the needed wires for $250. Great deal at Walmart. Put the bass boost knob in the armrest cup holder in a way that allows me to still put mug in there. Very Happy in CA. Thanks Nathan.
