  1. I went to 235/65 r17. No rubbing what so ever, even at full lock. That is with the 2 inch lift kit. https://imgur.com/gallery/Lh3SEzK
  2. https://imgur.com/gallery/Lh3SEzK Contact ASE Fabrication on Instagram, Facebook or his website!
  3. 235/65 r17 (no rubbing at all) 2” lift from ADF +44.5 offset 1.25” hub centric adapter (TJ has the same bolt pattern as a 6th gen legacy. These are JK rims so it’s super easy to find an adapter) http://i.imgur.com/Jmo2oby_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium http://https//i.imgur.com/EeILJlV_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium http://https//i.imgur.com/UvrNiRu_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium
  4. So, out of the box regardless any legacy owner will have to drill into their rain gutters to mount something like this. As our generation doesn’t have factory mounting points for a roof rack. Although it’s a super easy process for any body shop to create mounting points for you. I’m hoping that the crosstrek’s rain gutters are the same distance apart and the same dimensions as the legacy’s (probably not) I’m hopefully going to go meet with the guy at ASE who is making them and do a test fit. If it fits, I’ll have him update his website so we have a solid and cheap roof rack that we can buy out of the box. If not I’ll see if he would be interested in filling out orders for legacy roof racks. As for right now, what you could do is get some clear bra material. Cut and apply it to the area that the tower clippings are sitting on so you don’t get anymore contact with the paint.
  5. The damn forum, decided to link some Thule roof rack system. That is not what I am installing. I am installing this, by ASE out here in Colorado. https://www.asefabrication.com/product/13-17-xv-roof-rack-system/ Thule trying to get ad time.....
  6. Thank you thank you. It’s not done yet, still have to paint the front bumper and work on roof rack and lighting system. Also a few more outback parts for the exterior. The Subaru Outback greatly succeeds the legacy in sales. The outback is basically a body lifted legacy, same shocks, springs and subframes as the legacy. So it’s spring rate and rebound settings are most likely tuned for the body lifted outback. I don’t know, don’t take my words too seriously. It’s all speculation.
  7. Nope didn’t have to modify anything. The legacy even has plugs for the Subaru outback’s fog light motor which turns the fog light when you turn. The only thing that didn’t fit onto the front bumper was the lower grill. But they’re luckily $20. As for the rear bumper, completely different shape. The outback has a wider tailgate than the legacy, also much higher brake lights. The rear bumper would need to be cut then fiberglassed to fit onto the legacy.
  8. https://imgur.com/3JeUtfN I don’t know if the picture will come up or not. Here is the link
  9. I don’t know what it is. I just installed it 5 days ago. But the body roll is almost non existent now. My suspension probably hasn’t settled yet or I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the factory suspension is probably made for the outback and not the legacy. 2” lift from ADF. The picture I attached is stock tires and rims, so 225/55r17 but I’ll be putting on 235/65r17s here in a couple of days. I’ll keep you up to date on how they fit. But for real, do it. http://imgur.com/3JeUtfN
  10. I currently have a 2” ADF lift kit that I will be installing soon. Along side of that I have a set of 2015 Jeep rubicon rims paired with the correct wheel hub adapters. I’ll be fitting summer tires for the time being (Stock 225/55 r17) but I will be upgrading to 225/65 r17 all terrains just to get that look and functionality I’m looking for. I am also trying to acquire a set of 2015 Subaru Outback rocker panels that should fit directly to the floor panel once they arrive along with wheel arch moulding. From what I’ve seen, this forum is pretty barren with lifted 6th gens, I would love to see if anyone else on this forum has lifted their legacy. If you have, What lift did you go with? Did you use a strut tower spacer or replaced your suspension with Outback suspension. What tires are you running, what has happened to your aero, tire noise, MPG, solutions, and general information as such. Thank you, Nick
  11. I would hold off on the 6th gen as a whole if you’re in a place to do so, especially now that the newest generation is a 2.4l turbo. As the 2.4l platform progresses there will be tons of aftermarket options for not only suspension but also engine power. Might have buyers remorse with newer gens only to come as well.
