  3. I have owned many legacies, you could say that I have only owned legacies (3rd gen sedans). I currently have 2 Black Subaru Legacy rsk’s. Both manual. When I looked at the vin number I realised that it is limited edition. Yet I see no difference compared to my other Subaru. The vin number of my limited edition Subaru is: 7A8GF0B0709118375. Other details on plates in engine bay include TA - BE5 BE5-118375 Applied model: BE5D4RD Trim code: 020 Engine type: EJ208DWEBE Color code: 18L Transmission Type: TY754VBBBA Option code: PQC Is it possible to have this all decoded and explained to me and what sets this “limited edition legacy” apart from other legacies
  4. After letting my car sit for about 2 or 3 weeks I finally got it started again only to realise that there was smoke coming from the drivers side of the engine bay. Never used to have this issue before. When idling cold doesn’t have the issue but when the warms up it seems to occur. Not sure if smoke is oil or not as doesn’t have that typical burning oil smell. Smoke seems to be coming from the area where the turbo on drivers side. (Right hand drive) is located. Unsure if it is related to turbo as I can’t exactly pin point where alter smoke is coming from as it seems to be coming from somewhere deep down but unsure. Thoughts ? 2002 subaru legacy ej208 twin turbo ( smoke from left hand side of circle on picture provided Attached Thumbnails Also unsure if related or not my mate jumped the car but put leads wrong way around. car still tuns and goes hard just smoke which is new issue. Unsure if this could be related or not

  6. I have recently picked up a suuaru legacy RSK (Rev D Edition) Limited II. It's basically stock apart from a custom exhaust (one resonator and straight through muffler) Greddy BOV and a apparent tune I was taking all the interior apart to give the car a good clean. I had the car on while i was doing this and while I accidently left my lights on. The car died and i had to jump start it and took it for a drive. But something felt off. Normally i would get a massive kick when i switched over to the 2nd turbo but now i dont feel as much fo a kick. It feels more consistant and i cant tell if i'm making more or less power. Maybe the transition is just smooter ? I'm really lost and confused to what would make my car drive differently after the battery being drained. Maybe the ECU ? surely it wouldnt of gotten rid or the Tune ?
