Recently put new wheels on from an older wrx onto my 6th gen. Ever since then my tpms light has been on and i checked the pressure multiple times. Will i have to do a tpms relearn to solve my issue?

Im looking for ways to increase acceleration on my 2016 legacy without losing my powertrain warranty. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The tires will fit on 17" x 8" WRX rim. If you go to the tire manufacturers website (or a website like tirerack), they will list the rim width sizes that sized tire will fit. I personally have 225/45-18 tire on a 8" rim
Do you think changing tires will solve my issue, right now the wrx rims with the 235/45/17 are way too loud

Those tires are really small for a 6th Gen Legacy. They are almost 1 1/2" shorter, 26.75" vs 25.35". I would get a more appropriated sized tire and sell off the 235/45-17 to WRX owner.
Do you think i could put tires that are 225/55 17 on the wrx rim and have no issues?

Kushd13, do you like the look of that size tire/wheel on your legacy? Looking for a 17" or 18" winter setup. I have a 16" winter setup with 225/60/16s I ran last year but didn't really like the look. I've seen some WRX winter setups for sale with the 235/45/17 but wasn't sure how it would look on the 6th gen legacy. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the looks or even a pic if you have one. Thanks!
I have all seasons on the wrx rims. They are 235/45/17 which is what supposed to be on the rims for the wrx. The legacy tire size is different so i think i may need to switch to those tires because as of now these wheels make too much noise on my legacy. Not sure what i have to do to fix this

Anyone know why these wheels are obnoxiusly loud on my 16 legacy. they are a different tire size than what is supposed to be on the legacy. The wrx rims are 17 x 8and the stock subaru rims are 17 x 7.5, not sure if that might be it

Just bought these wrx rims which came w tires. The tires are 235/45/17. I out them on my legacy and the tires make alot more noise compared to the stock wheels. Does anybody know if i need to change the tire size to what subaru reccomends for the legacy 225/55/17 for those wrx rims or what i may need to do?

What size tires are on those wrx rims? I just put the same rims on mine with a set of 235/45 and they added alot to the cabin noise

How would i find out what type of sensor is in my wheel, im not to sure as i bought these wheels off craigslist.
