  1. WOW! good post. thanks!!! I just busted out the GT for the summer, and I drive that way to work every day.
  2. I know, it's real tempting. 10 months old and 27k miles though, I've gotta find a way to drive it less. I'll probably put all that junk on it, and the urge to drive will get the best of me. we'll have to see... haha
  3. Hey! that's me. yeah, I know, that was a looong time ago. somehow I missed your post on here. I just happened to see it while looking for local tuning shop info. naw, no turbo upgrade. license plate "R3V0 VOM" it spells "move over" when read from someone's rearview mirror. I was taking the girl in my passenger seat on a date, after I ran into you she was like, "uh, so wait a minute... if you see someone else in the same car as you, you stop and talk to them?" I said, "hell yeah!" hahaha, needless to say I haven't taken her out since. oh well! Anyways, the GT is on jack stands awaiting MR exhaust, MR headers/up, catless dp, whiteline steering rack bushings, short throw shifter, stainless brake lines, and a 30k mile service. (all parts sitting in the garage, or on the way, just need time to install!) I'm contemplating leaving it in there all winter, and as soon as the weather breaks taking it straight to the shop for custom tune and window tint. Until then I'll be driving the '95 legacy sedan around hahaha. Current mods were pink springs, cobb AP, gfb bov (yeah, yeah, I know), all the car audio junk (cleansweep, 10v6v2, etc.) and I blacked out the tail lights/head lights. I will definately try to attend any gatherings/events/tuning days this coming spring/summer. see you around! Jeff
  4. awww dude. those porsche guys are gonna flip out. this is gonna be good. comparing their porsches to honda civics probably wasn't the best idea.
  5. As much as I hate to admit disconnecting the mufflers on my brand new 30k car, to install washers where they don't belong...... the sound is somewhat satisfying. The washers will come off when up/dp are replaced, and stage 2 is flashed, but until then I think I'm gonna leave them.
  6. That's gonna be awhile!!! Just about the only things that will actually NEED fixing/replacing with a subaru: Tires Engine Oil Windshiled wipers Brake pads paint chips other various filters/maintenance items and occasionally, your shorts. Welcome to the site, congrats on the car.
  7. Over the weekend... after a movie... probably around 11pm. OBP sedan on the Corner of Canal and Granger road. I was the crazy guy at the shell station frantically giving you thumbs up while getting gas. Hoping you'd stop and chat, but the girl in your passenger seat looked just as bored as the one in my passenger seat!
  8. Nice, I live in Medina... haven't played backyard ball in probably 5 years. I'm suprised this is going on and I've never heard of it! I thought I knew everyone around here that played!!! sorry for the off topic post.
  9. Sighted: (I actually saw one!!! woo hoo!!!) Silver 2.5i with aftermarket wheels SB on I-71 in Brunswick, 4:10pm on Monday. Gentleman in his mid 30's if I had to guess... gave a thumbs up, and a couple miles down the road I got one back!
  10. wow, that is some really cool, really old school stuff. If you play regularly at just about any field in the area you probably have seen me or know who I am. I have either worked there, regularly played there, or have good friends who work there. Then again, I'm sure I'd remember seeing a grey spirit or a VM68 being carried around and said something to ya. that deal at buschur sounds good... I'm gonna try to check that out, but if your buddy is a conductor you know how the hours are, too. brutal is the only word to describe. thanks for the warm welcome, I'll keep up on this post and try to make it to any outings/tuning days etc.
  11. what's up buddy, nice to meet you. I've had my LGT for a little while now... sold it to myself when I worked at a subaru dealership, and I have yet to see another legacy on the road. my name is Jeff I live in Medina, and work in Collinwood (yikes, I know. but I'm a freight train conductor... ever seen a railroad track near a nice neighborhood? neither have I.) Obsidian Black Pearl LGT limited sedan(2006) debadged and disabled DRL with an "I'd rather be playing paintball" license plate frame on the rear. I typically don't honk/wave at subaru drivers from fear of being chased/beat down by man-hating lesbians (unless I saw an LGT or STI or something cool, I'd give a thumbs up) I'll be sure and keep an eye out for a chinese guy in an LGT. if you saw me you'd probably know it... 6' 7" 22 years old and going exactly 5mph over the limit 98% of the time. Also, are there any tuning shops/stores that sell cool subaru stuff around here? I've been in cincinatti and atlanta the past few weeks for work, but will be coming home later this week. I've made it out to summit racing on 76, nothing... most places go "huh?" and give you a blank stare when you say "got anything for the subaru legacy gt?" which is kind of cool, but irritating at the same time. I plan on doing a lot more researach into this upon my return. thanks and nice meeting everyone.
