Yes it did.
I took it in yesterday.
They checked it out and did a "hard reboot" per the service desk and now it works fine!
Also replaced a battery in the key fob as it would not unlock doors from a distance.
All is well.
-
yes held the volume button in for 15 sec + until it did reboot ( multiple times)
I did try the soft ware update but none available.
Subaru also told me that they could not attempt to do a fix via Star Link

Coming up on three months!
Enjoyment continues and looks keep growing on me.
Been through one snowstorm, handled like a pro.
One longer trip (500 miles). Quiet and comfortable at 75mph.
Love the adaptive speed control, use it all the time for city driving.
But
Just developed what appears to be a head unit issue.
Phone pairing dropped and it won't recognize phones now.
Spoke with Subaru customer service and rebooted head unit ( push volume knob in until screen goes dark) but no help
Will drop off car this Wednesday.
Here's hoping
My daughter has a 2018 Outback that had a failed head unit for which she had to wait 6 weeks for a new unit to arrive.
Bad JuJu there.

More impressions:
Start stop is harsh .....needs work
Still No one has stopped me yet and said: wow is that the new Legacy!
But
The exterior styling is growing on me more and more
I like the new abyss blue color
Driver recognition is iffy it sometimes says no recognition.
It is Linked to seat/ mirror memory
-
Yes it did come in and well worth the wait
New platform is very tight
Interior is quiet
Interior style is a strong advance
a little more pep then the 16
trunk , because of new lid, looks huge
spent some time with the big screen, once visited it is easy to use.
no problems with screen fade in daylight
seat memory is tied to driver recognition settings
cd takes up a lot of room in center counsel
foot well illumination lights are white not blue as in the 16
you will need a steering wheel wrap (you can still feel the steering wheel warmer)
all in all a very nice ride, quiet, refined
The exterior looks good although no one has stopped me and said
"Is that the new Legacy!"

Car is in!
Pick up this Friday.
Side window deflectors also in.
-
New delivery date 10 22
Still searching for fog lamp bulb type
Side window deflectors on back order
-
Still waiting
Was to be here on the 11th
Dealer was kind enough for to provide a loner.
-
Thanks for your replies.
The Lamin X would be an option. Although they do not show one for a 20
The parts list link indicates that fog light assembly fits the 18,19 and 20 Legacy
It does not show an attached bulb.
Safe to assume that it would take the same bulb as the 18 and 18 Legacy?
-
This is what I received from Subaru customer service re the fog lamp bulbs:
There is no part number for the fog light bulb that we can provide to you, because the LED bulbs are not individually replaceable. If the LED fog light does not illuminate, then the entire assembly needs to be replaced.
Has anyone heard of this type of set up?
No yellow fogs for me it seams

I checked the PDF manual and found the same " contact your dealer" advice
Well at this time the dealer dozen't know either.
Contacted Subaru who said contact your dealer.
Just sent a return email asking that someone in Subaru should be able to reveal this state secret.
Just want nice yellow fog lights!

Does anyone have bulb information for fog and running lights for the 2020 legacy premium?
-
The money factor/ lease rate is much worse then three years ago.
I do not know if Subaru / Chase is worse than others.
Would expend on the car.
I know that they have purchase agreements with various organizations but am unaware of leasing agreements.
Was told they only lease through Chase.
-
Increased HP was touted as a benifit of DI. He also mentioned an improved oil flow upgrade that would help clean valves.
Not a big issue to me as its on a three year lease.
-
More updates after it arrives
Had same glare concern with info screen.
Wasn't able to fully play / adjust screen
Stop start was not smooth so it may go off
A lot of positives over a good 2016
-
Dealer called and said car built with a delivery date of Oct 11.
Subaru elves working overtime or lack of demand?
Will post pics
Questions:
how long to wait before waxing?
Going to replace fog light bulb with a Yellow bulb.
Suggestions?
-
Subaru finance will not extend my lease until the new car arrives.
Dealer indicated that with an order number they would.
Oh well... riding shanks' pony is free
-
Closed on an Abyss Blue Limited with a few options.
Being built.
October delivery date.
Off lease ( and six month extension) of a 2016 premium.
Intrigued by the turbo but not at 4 grand more.
Dealers must be factory incented
as cost was slightly below invoice.
Drove a base limited.
A little more pep, quieter, great interior and better bolstered seats.
Outside pretty much the same except for huge trunk opening.
Loved the 16 hope I do the 20!
Done Deal!

I purchased a three year Star link package on delivery.
It was about $76
A great deal
Use the remote start often ( it's cold here in Pittsburgh)
