  1. So I'm going to be lowering my daughter's outback after winter. I'm wondering what a good offset for flush wheel fitment would be. I currently run a +48 on my lgt and my wheels sit pretty flush. I'm worried about being flush on the wider body and rubbing the wheels. Pics are also welcome for her to see what wheel style she may like. Thanks!!!! Pic of my car.for attention lol.
  2. That's the part of the crankshaft that the front crank seal in the oil pump seas against.
  3. If you have a sunroof, it is possible the drain is blocked or came off the sunroof
  4. So for some reason on these generation legacys when you get abs codes, especially on automatics it causes them to run terrible and they kick the fans on too. Now on subarus there's 2 terminating resistors for the can network. One in the ecm and one in the vdc. You can use pins 6 and 14 of the dlc connector to.check the can network. You should get 60 ohms with everything plugged in, if you ger 120 ohms youve lost a terminating resistor. My guess by the symptoms your having is the vdc module took a dump and is messing with the can network. This is where I would start.
  5. General (with brand new cast iron) they will smoke . Your burning the oil and impurities off of the metal. I've put quite a few new turbos on to have them do this. It will stop when all the impurities are burnt off.
  6. I usually use a jack.and block of wood under the front diff.
  7. Sounds like the fan motor is shot. If you have to push the fan to get it going, the brushed are probally bad.

  12. That kit is perfectly fine. You'll notice a difference with the lighter flywheel too. This is the kit I went with because of the mods I have and am planning to do. https://www.importimageracing.com/products/sb11-hdss-act-heavy-duty-street-sprung-clutch-kit-w-flywheel-subaru-wrx-2006-2021?currency=USD&variant=44929130131&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google Shopping&gclid=CjwKCAiAy_CcBhBeEiwAcoMRHIFpXuGHepdiruxFBQ5uRSVnPcM8J4wdVSvtGSQXF2aBZcc4YM2aMRoCTAcQAvD_BwE
  13. There is a reprogram all ascent and xt cars get that are under the recall. Then the car is checked for slippage, then the chain guide is checked. If there is any slippage recorded the vehicle automatically gets a new trans. The issue was in the old programming. The new reprogram takes care of any issues.
  14. We see this problem all the time at the dealer, especially with smokers. The window run gets dirty. I soak a rag in brake clean and use a flat head screw driver to clean the channel. Sometimes I have to put so.e lube on the window run.
  15. Depending on hourly rate, book time is around 7 hours. If your going to do an exedy clutch, get one for a 06 wrx and get the 06 wrx flywheel. Get rid of the dual mass flywheel. You will need tonget new flywheel bolts as well. The dual mass flywheel is expensive.
  16. Dropping the front subframe would be the easiest to get the engine and trans out at the same time
  17. I have a set of rear wagon bumper spats freshly painted Atlantic blue pearl 33A. I bought a set off of ebay and the rear spats were for a wagon. $100 bucks shipped.
  18. If you drill the old one out and drill it straight, a grade 8 3/8 bolt and nut works perfectly fine
