I have an 06 outback, manual transmission, 2.5i sohc, 180k.

While driving in 5th gear it will not go past 80 mph unless driving dowhill and even on flat road at 70 when push had pedal it has no power, doesn't help to drop into 4th gear.

I recently had rough idel. I took throttle body off and cleaned...with o'Reilly throttle body cleaner. Cleaned MAF with PB blaster.

Fixed rough idel.

I have an 06 outback. It's 2.5i, manual transmission. Bought with 80k miles now at 190k miles.

It has always been very weak when pulling out in 1st gear. Is this a problem with this model?

I have an 06 outback. I keep the rear load most days. I think the rear struts are shot.

Any recommendations to beef-up the rear suspension to carry the extra daily weight? If I ugrade the rear suspension should the front suspension be upgraded.
