Looking to buy OEM 05 GT mufflers in good shape

I would go with 1 and change out the grill. IMHO

Cool vid, that should be the standard test drive at the dealer

Great info, im dealing with this myself. Going to try this, thanks.

I just had mine done and went OEM, shop said they were better than Gates.
Also upgraded to an STI oil pump while it was all apart.

Stopped at a booth at the NY Auto show and this company was doing complete vinyl body wraps , I want to say between 2 and 3 grand. It looked great and you had a ton of options.

Do you have a sound clip?

No, no sound clip but it does sound good and the Vibrant resonator toned it down a bit but not enough. Its for sale btw. In great condition, was only on the car for a year. PM me if interested

Nice work , awesome ride.

Had an HSK Silent Hi-Power but it was just a bit too loud for 5am starts.
Even had a Vibrant performance resonator welded in but decided to go with nameless mid and y with stock mufflers

Great info, im thinking of doing this to mine. Went back to stock mufflers from HSK Silent...lol. Hardly silent. Love the Grolsch in the pick.Good innovative modding. I intend to paint my WRX's muffler ends black, too, but am still uncertain of a process that won't flake off like it did on my LGT's... what did you use?Different from my own long buried posts on here with internal mods I made to my LGT's mufflers, which were more performance oriented than cosmetic. Your mods compliment those of mine nicely as options.
Here is something I've done on my WRX for performance reasons, and also highlights what is lurking within the LGT's mufflers as well.

Iv'e been dealing with vibration problems also. Get the wheels checked for true and a Roadforce balance. At least it will eliminate them. Then wheel bearings.....good luck

I use Shell Rotella T6 5-w40 and live in Northern NJ. I've had no problems so far and use it all year.

I have the exact same problem. Just had the wheels checked and Roadforce balanced, new front brakes, control arms and wheel bearings.
I've heard that the front axles can cause this especially if they are aftermarket.
I know I have one aftermarket axle I'm going to change out but my god is it an annoying problem.
