Hi,
Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this question but I am looking for a little advice on how to price a wagon with some cosmetic damage and a salvage title.
2005 Wagon 5-speed Manual 142000 miles...
A friend borrowed Subie this winter and got hit by someone on I-70. Cosmetic damage on the passenger side doors and rear quarter panel. Still drives straight as an arrow and functionally is great. Front passenger door does not open from the outside but does from inside. I just put the new turbo in it in August along with some suspension and brake work with Summit Auto in Denver. I have also done power steering pump, belts and radiator.
It will now have a salvage title as they deemed it a total, but I just took it on a long trip to AZ and it drives perfectly.
Every time I drive it I think I should keep it, but there has been a chain of events since I purchased it that is making me think that perhaps it was not meant to be for me. I have done quite a bit of work to it. Between 2 foot surgeries, the turbo, various repairs and now this incident my heart is not quite as in it. I am hoping to give someone else a good deal on a really fun car but also not drastically underprice it.
142K miles.
Turbo replaced at ~138 K
Cream leather interior, decent shape could use some leather cleaner perhaps... 5" on seam on back rest of drivers seat. Seat heaters work but not strongly.
Moon, Sun roof - nice and tight
Frequent oil changes w/ synthetic oil
1 owner prior to me
Have maintenance records
Thanks for any advice...apologies if images are upside down. They were right side up when loaded.
