On cold start it’s a little loud, but once it warms up, it has a nice deep throaty tone. Definitely a lot of drone at highway speeds also

I prefer the sound of the LP Aventure mufflers over the nameless, the nameless ones are pretty raspy at idle where the LP has a nice mellow tone

Slapped the Lachute Performance axle back exhaust back on again and made another video. Can't decide if I'll leave it on for a bit or go back to stock. Good thing it only takes 10min to change.

 

We had a xt in my shop that had the nameless mufflers on it, I'm so glad I got the LP ones instead, the nameless ones are loud and raspy

Anything new on this recall?

I work at a Subaru dealer, and this isn't even in stis to look for it, kind of strange they send a recall letter to us and then there's no remedy, or documentation about it

I saw this on the news, it applies to the early 2020 legacies, there's nothing on stis about it yet, I've looked at the recall number every day this week, no part number, no documentation on it at all

got an email that there is an update for my 2020 Legacy XT Touring. Downloaded and installed. No issues.

How long did it take to install? I saw the email this morning

I used to get flashed in my 2019 legacy, but since getting the 2020 xt, I have yet to be flashed, it's going to be a bad night when I flash them back

I just purchased the 2018 Subaru 3.6r Limited. As I was going through the manual I wonder if mine has the following features because all the manual said was "if equipped" but how do I know if mine is equipped.

Mine does not have the X-Mode. I assumed I can't add this feature at a later date, correct?

Being you have a 3.6r limited you have all of these besides Hill descent control (x-mode) study the owners manual, I did all of that when I bought mine, even though I work at a Subaru dealer, knowledge is power when you have concerns and will save you a trip to the dealer

It does require a visit there, I haven't seen a update for it though, mine did end up wiping out my FM presets again, but it's better than it used to be. I'll look into seeing it they have an update for that tomorrow

I had the same thing happen, they flashed an update that has since been dropped, it was a really bad update, then entire head unit had to be replaced. There is no real remedy currently as of now. I check in the daily since I work at a Subaru dealer, they may need to order a new radio, mine has been working as designed since they replaced the radio, this was about 3 weeks ago
