  1. Forgot that you were the all knowing, never wrong god; my mistake, carry on your greatness.
  2. Yeah, it's just that he's a repeat offender himself too. Either way, I'll shut up now and let you guys get on with meaningful discussion. I'm not butthurt, just pointing out that the admin/mod attitudes on here don't foster involvement.
  3. It always seem like him as well as the usual repeat offenders exuding their "superiority" over everyone else. It's about the most off-putting thing about this forum, and 100% certainly reduces membership and involvement. But go ahead, tell more people to "use the search bar" and the typical laundry list of canned ... replies they dump out. this forum is a joke.
  4. Android Auto has worked pretty well for me since I got the car a few weeks back. All of a sudden 2 days ago, it just stopped working. Never shows as a connected/accepted vehicle on the phone anymore, and I assume that's what's preventing it from displaying any kind of map data. I've replaced the cable multiple times since, reinstalled the app 4 times, deleted and repaired the bluetooth connection multiple times, tried USB debugging in the developer settings of my phone, tried the other USB port, all with zero success. Has anyone had a similar issue with the 2018 model? Is there something that I need to do to "reset" the AA function of the car when things get wonky? Someone made mention in passing about resetting some kind of cache within the head unit, but I'm not sure how to do that. Phone is a Google Pixel 2 on AT&T if that matters.
  5. Jeez dude, no need to be rude about it. Was just trying to help. And people wonder why there's low involvement here lol.
  6. Correct, I assumed he meant that he wanted to avoid accidentally hitting them.
  7. I read this in another thread where someone wanted to disable them. The paddles are held in by removable pins. You can just punch them out with a small metal rod, and remove them from the carriers; they pull right out.
  8. When I go flog the car in the twisties (inb4 != wrx), the simulated shift points function great about 95% of the time. The car seems to do decent with holding the high RPM, and I've only had it refuse to downshift 2 times before when I thought that it most definitely should have. Keep in mind I drive this thing harder than most people, and can't really see any issue with how it performs, all things considered. It's great to slap it back into D after that and have a leisurely and comfortable ride home.
  9. My bad, hadn't had my coffee yet and turning into an asshole lol. Yeah I just didn't need the power, harsh suspension, insurance rate, or extra $10k+ cost of a WRX. Also, I specifically wanted Eyesight, which you can't get with a manual transmission on a WRX; automatic on a WRX is sacrilege IMO, so it wouldn't work out anyways. My boy racer phase is over. I sold my extremely modified Focus ST to get this, and couldn't be happier to have a normal unmodified car again.
  10. A rear sway bar isn't even close to anything WRX related. I just like the reduced body roll, it's still plush as ever. This is the car I wanted, so I bought it. Plain and simple; you don't have to like what I did to my own car
  11. Slapped the 21mm bar back there yesterday. Damn, this is how the car should have come from the factory. I'm pretty happy Corners FAR better now, with a ton less roll. Hard to tell if it tracks any straighter than it did with just the alignment, but I'll report back once I've put some more miles on.
  12. New alignment is FAR better on the straight line 65mph+ straight tracking. The tech showed me the insanely huge range that is allowed from the factory, which is completely unacceptable in reality. Not sure how they allow that. Either way, 90% fixed now, and I bet the RSB fixes the rest
  13. 39 seems extremely high cold pressure, but hey, if it's wearing properly and handles well, who am I to say no?
  14. Apparently my rear toe is completely out of whack. dealer stated "SOA builds the cars, we fix the way they allow them out of the factory." fair enough, lets see how it feels on the way home.
  15. I have the 17" wheels on mine and still have the issue. Sucks to hear the lockout is causing more problems than it solves. Hopefully this fatty RSB solves something for me At the very least i can get it to rotate better on harder driving, but that's obviously not the complain here.
