  1. I picked up a set of spring compressors and attempted to assemble the front struts ahead of time so that this weekend I can just put them in the car but I couldn’t figure it out. When I place the first coil of the bottom into the strut , it tilts the spring at an angle making it very difficult to align the spring seat on top of the spring. Is the whole first coil suppose to sit making full contact with the strut base? Or is just the the tip of the spring that’s suppose to make contact ? Is the spring supposed to be angled when I try placing the spring seat?
  2. If its so loose that it slides back down the shock rod on its own, then get an OEM one and cut it down. If it simply slides easily, don't worry about it.

This. The stopper Eibach provided has a hole that’s too big and it slides down the rod on its own. If Eibach springs were made to use the factory struts, wouldn’t they know the stopper they provided is too big?

Also, I don’t remember seeing an rear bump stop on the diagrams , can someone provide with the part number they are using ?

  3. For the Legacy this is the upper spring seat and the bottom side where the spring sits up against has a rubber insert built into it.

What you bought was the OUTBACK upper spring seat rubber isolator.

The Outback front springs have a larger diameter at the top of the springs and use a different upper spring seat than the Legacy, and therefore require the rubber isolator. Make sure you didn't buy an Outback upper spring seat, it will not work with your Legacy springs.

Thank you! I will return those parts. I also checked and I do have the correct spring seat. I also received the dust covers for the rear shocks and noticed they didn’t have stoppers like the front, but My eibach springs came with their own rear stoppers , are these necessary ?
