I got it to the point where it could read the messages on the CAN network, but didn't get the ability to send messages to request engine data. It would definitely work if I spent more time on it, but I gave up on that project in favor of getting the same data through the radio via a maestro rr. Much cleaner use of space in the dash.

Would a Bluetooth OBD and say a torque app show boost/gauges on the video out?

I wanted a HKS Camp 2 but they are rare as hens teeth, been told to Pi it, working out if the touch screen would still register

USDM didn't get the SI-drive, so I'm afraid I can't help you there.

 

But I am curious: what is the marginal benefit of an electronic BoV? I Googled it, but I feel like all that I found was marketing BS.

BoV are illegal in Australia... You can't vent to atmosphere.... So being able to change it on the fly helps

I've got an Australian Gen V, long story short mechanic added a electronic BoV and I noticed the lighting around the gear selector(auto) weren't illuminating anymore, the tuner that first did my tune (which I've since got retuned) said my I was stuck in S mode because he couldn't tune the SI-Drive.

My new tuner has all 3 maps in the ECU but for the life of us can work out which fuse or why the SI-Drive toggle doesn't work.

Any ideas on where to start looking?

I had a quick look at the back of my HU, and to me, it looks completely different from any of the guides I've seen.

Am I stuck with the HU or do I just take it to a car audio guy and they can deal with it? (Keeping in mind I'm running a fine line with the misses considering my stage 2 cost me a bit, and for some reason, she thinks that those parts were um "necessary" as the old ones had um "broked")

I figured the reverse cam would be like an AV plug but it didn't seem that way, just looks all over the shop, are the funky plugs coming from the AMP, meaning i should just ditch the AMP and HU?
