Will a 2009 Legacy windshield fit in a 2008 Legacy???

Both are JDM, I want to know before I buy the scrap car.

Hello, I recently noticed a braided steel wire that looks like a ground wire, but I have no idea where it goes. My bodyman must have removed it and did not replace it. I cannot seem to find a full ground diagram online, I haven't drove my car for a year and a half due to mechanics that do half a$z diagnostics.

Hello a little help please. I think I have a bad ground on my 2008 Legacy because I face minor stalling issues at times. Please provide me with a diagram or locations of all mandatory grounds. Thanks, Subahamas.

The fans DO come on. But I will update you by wednesday after I start the engine and see if the codes come back.

I was waiting for my code reader to come in the mail so I could go further on my own. The car is getting a code P1718. I have not started the car sinse due to being lazy. But I think its a bad TCM, TCU, CAN or a bad Wire in one of those units.

No signs of head gasket failure, the car dies when I put it into drive and reverse. But if it's in neutral or park, it runs fine. My coolant overflow bottle remains dry even when the temperature gauge reads overheating "which means that the head gasket is still intact. I got no smoke out the tailpipe whatsoever.

Good night my fellow Subaru enthusiasts, I am currently searching for a OBD2 code scanner for my 2008 Subaru Legacy (Right hand Drive) so I can scan the car myself and go to my mechanics with codes instead of getting the run around, please drop websites or amazon links. I couldn't find any that fits my vehicle, and i didn't want to just buy any one offline and then it wont plug into my car. #Thanks

A buddy of mine took a look at the car and he immediately noticed that my coolant was full and super green. Which points to a bad water pump or t-stat, but I will still get that head gasket checked thoroughly just to be safe, even after I fix the overheating.

I still haven't found anybody that is trustworthy to deal with the car, any other suggestions? I will let whoever I find to deal with the car know all the stuff you all suggested. Thanks a million.

Okay, I will have to do that then, because a mechanic I dealt with since getting the entire car resprayed removed all of my catalytic converters, swapped the fuel pump and the problem still persists. Now he's telling me I need fuel injectors to diagnose the misfire. I was thinking it may have been a thermostat because the day I got it from the Body Shop, the temperature gauge went up after the car was sitting for a few months in the shop. That was one thing I remembered clearly. Thanks again though.

Can I get a brief list of symptoms for a bad thermostat please? My mechanic is no help at all. I dumped a lot of money in my subie and he hasn't been on the road since Christmas 2018. Please help. The car runs, overheats and then stalls.

No I didn't, but that shady mechanic has the subie right now. He on some "don't text me" with suggestions crap.
