Are these actually required for running Deatchwerks injectors on a GT? I picked up some 850 side feeds a while ago for my build.

I just wanted to check and see if there's anything extra that I should look out for when taking a look at it. It's at 167k and it's an auto, but is 2 owner and has a full service history so its looking good. It was rear ended by a motorcycle but had the hatch and a taillight replaced, so that doesn't worry me too much. Power steering leaks (no surprises) but it's slow at the moment and otherwise has no mechanical issues listed. It's on the original turbo with no banjo bolt filters, so that's looking good. Priced at $6500 but he's flexible on price. I do think that's a bit high and I'll try and work down to like $5500, cause that seems more fair in my experience. Thoughts?

You don't need the uppipe cat to pass emissions. Subaru removed it after 2007. I have a Forester XT uppipe on mine.

Yeah I get what you mean. I have wide 11.5 feet and I'm okay with the pedals in my wagon, but my sister's Jetta always throws me off with the pedal position. Maybe you could bring your seat more upright to get your arms closer? I always recline a little just for cruising but if I'm driving fast I bring it up for better control.

I'm not aware of an easy way to move the pedal set left or right. You must have some big feet or something though, cause left foot braking feels pretty normal for me. Might be worth messing around with seat position to see if you can find something more comfortable.

Well I got a killer deal on the fuel pump and side feed injectors, so that's a big plus for me. Based on the research I've done and talking to my tuner, top feed doesn't increase performance by very much, if at all. I've been reading about stumble issues that people have though and I've considered a parallel setup for that reason. I think stock fuel lines and rails with an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator should be fine? Sent from my Carrier Pigeon using Tapatalk
