anyone had their plastic panel that's on the back of the drivers seat start to come off? looks like it's held on there by clips. I'm not sure why this is happening or how to fix. is this where the air bag deploys?
I had the side plastic panel on the passenger seat do that a bit - that was from me snagging it on something a time or two, though. I've also had the panel on the passenger C-pillar that deploys for an airbag pop off a time or two.
In both instances I put a drop of pookie (permatex black is my general fix-all go to) on the plastic clip, put it back in place and held it a bit or put pressure on it if it needed it. Nothing has come loose since.
I think
a: the force of an airbag would blow off the part even with the bit of glue
b: the odds of me having a catastrophic accident with someone in the rear seat is probably lower than me getting hit by lightning.
c: even if one all the airbags didn't deploy the odds of someone living or dying in the backseat of my car would not change.

I meant this.
While you're down there, check the rubber exhaust hangers. It looks like one is hanging unattached in the top left of the frame.

I dont know about all of you guys, but I plan on having my spec b till I die. No joke.
Ive already put well more than 5k into it since buying it in July, but I dont see anything thats too big that I wouldnt seriously consider repairing... maybe in 7-8 years it will have a jdm 6 speed or something. It may not always be my DD but it sure as will stay in my name till the day I die... I hope
That's my plan. I should hit 230,000 miles on mine next week.

If it was at 10 pm yeah that was me.. I was going home .. I didn't see u tho . What color is urs? I went down to Houston for new years and my friends call me and told me if I was still in Dallas cause they saw a spec b exactly like mine by some apts on 121 and spring creek . They thought it was me but I was in Houston so that proly was u . Lol
10 am. We ran side by side for a bit south of Loop 12 and waved at one another. Mine is the 06 Subaru spec. B silver. It's a little lower, tinted, smoked tail lights, different front scoop, foglights replaced with brake ducting.

Hey I have the # 452 .. 06 spec b Dallas tx .. :)
Was that you today on the North Dallas Tollway around 10:00? I followed another 06 spec. B for a couple miles. That was actually the first time out in the wild I saw another one while driving mine.

I have #447 here in Dallas, TX. 167,000 miles as of 8-14-2011. Are there any '06 Spec. B's out there with more miles?

So, I hit a quarter million miles with my 06 spec.B earlier this week. I'm 99% sure it's the highest mileage spec.B in the country. Is anyone higher?
