  1. a fairly easy way to figure out if it's a 2005 or 2006 is to look at the headlights (assuming they haven't been painted already). If the headlights are completely chrome, it's a 2006. If the majority of the headlight is a charcoal color, then it's a 2005 (unless painted). or just post up a picture of your car and most the people on here would be able to tell.

I don't think it's a case that they don't see legacy's very often. Cause I'm pretty sure that's their main focus. (hence the name Super Rupair)

  2. Does anyone know of a wheel shop that will repair wheels? I have some rust on the machine lip of my wheels (didn't have any time to take care of them during the winter with work). I'm gonna try to get some rust remover and do it myself, but wondering if anyone knows of any local shops that could do it if I am unsuccessful
  3. WINDOW TINT:

IDS Window Tint & Clear Mask

    8071 S. Broadway

    Littleton, CO 80122-2729

    (303) 734-4500

    idswindowtint.com

They're pretty much at C-470 and Broadway. They did an awesome job and are really cheap my 20% tint was $200, I think the 35% was around $160 if you don't want dark tint. They warrant all their tint against fading, purpling (becoming purple in color) and bubbling for life. I even had a cut somehow put into one of my windows about a year later that they said is usually not covered under their warranty but they replaced it for free anyways (I did buy them a 6-pack though)

  4. Yeah, we'll definitely have to make it down sometime soon. There's been days when we really wanted it but it's been really cold or raining so didn't go. And we were down there a few weeks ago and saw the empty trailer and just thought they were closed. Thanks for letting me know.
  5. I wil be there:

    Attending

    1. chenc544 (Castle Rock)

    2.

    3. praedet (C-Spgs) (maybe)

    4. tommypenguin (Littleton) (maybe)

    5. Bskey

    6. ScottyBuckeye ~ I'm going to try to drag him down there!

    7. enthusiast (Highlands Ranch)

    8. Collegemt (Denver)

I'm not going to be able to make this after all...which sucks cause they make some amazing bbq

  6. I may bring a buddy too.... with all these people, should we call ahead and make a reservation?

There's no reservations...(at least if it's the same as when I went there last fall/winter)...It's basically a trailer with a huge pit bbq and they have a bunch of picnic benches for people to sit at

  7. I don't know know if I'll be able to make it next weekend or not...but I have a suggestion for the location. Not really central....but that bbq place in the Castle Rock Outlets parking lot would be a good one (and that way if anyone brings their better half, they'll have something to do while everyone hangs out). I forget the name of the bbq, but we've gone there after your suggestion and it's definetly one of the best bbq's we've had
  8. Wow this was a PIAA. I never want to see another pop-it again for the rest of my life. There are still two that I have no idea where to put, but my bumper is secure, thats all that matters. I love the look though, now I want to find the clear turn signals that blink amber. Anyone know where I can find these?

Any autoshop should have them. I think I bought mine at pep boys.

I thought it was worth the PIAA, but if you ever have to do it again it's a piece of cake to do over.

  9. I'll be working tomorrow (actually I'm still at work right now). So, won't be able to make it to the Rio tomorrow. But at least it's the last Sunday of Tax season and I'll actually get my weekends back. I'm thinking I might actually head over there with my gf Tuesday though.
  10. Wow, don't know how I missed this thread...the meet was very fun last year. Usually DJMonkey lets everyone know, he must be sleepin or somthin:confused:

Yeah, I haven't had time to do much of anything lately. I pretty much only see the threads I've already subscribed to anymore. But I just sent an e-mail out for you...

I won't be able to make it to this meet....I'm hoping I'm not working that Sunday, and if I'm not I'll be up in Copper watching my buddy compete in the snowboarding finals

  11. Sign me up! ...Frikin roads out here have all gone to shit over the last 2 winters and my springs/18's are helping the matter. Anyone driven on c470 lately? It's gawddamn ridiculous!:spin:

Sorry for the OT rant

Yeah I know...all the roads are horrible...there's a spot on 470 going west just past Yosemite that feels like you just went over a wall or something

  12. I don't know if that was a question for me...but I've only had 2 of my friends meet their girlfriends/fiances at bars. The majority of my friends with girlfriends/wives met them at places other than the bars (mostly in classes and through mutual friends)
  13. But I have to vehemently disagree that good, quality people are "far and few between at those places."

I didn't mean to come accross saying that there aren't any good, quality and 'normal' people at bars, I go to the bars as well. I was saying that the type of girl Tommy is looking for is hard to find at the bars as he too said. But the the majority of the girls at bars are not looking for a long-term relationship. Sometimes, a hookup can turn into a long-term deal but from my experience that does not happen very often.

And I agree that you can't limit yourself if you're looking. You never know if the girl you meet at the bar could turn into a long-term relationship. Cause, like I've said, I've seen it happen.

  14. I have to disagree w/ all y'all. Just b/c a girl is working out at a gym (or going to a bar), doesn't mean she's there to meet guys. Maybe she just wants to be healthy and have a good body. I certainly don't go to the gym to meet girls (although the occasional eye candy doesn't hurt (my club's known as Sally's instead of Bally's and doesn't have the quantity that 24 hour does)). Now in a bar you have a better chance that she's there to meet a guy, but so what? Through conversation you can tell if she's just looking to get laid or if she's quality.

We weren't saying that all girls you meet at the gym are just there to meet guys. You can tell which girls are at the gym just to meet guys (at my old gym there were two girls that were there every day. The whole time they were there they would hang out around a piece of equipment and maybe do one rep. They were not there to work out). These are the type of girls Ted and I are talking about. The girls that are at the gym to work out are there to work out and don't want to be bothered by some guy trying to pick them up. So, more than likely you aren't going to meet a girl at the gym that is there to work out.

Sure you can always meet a girl at the bar or at the gym, but the kind of girls tommy is talking about (at least what I think he's talking about) are far and few between at those places. If you're just looking for a hookup or someone for casual dating that you know you'll break up, the bar/gym is a great place to look. But if you're looking for someone to take home to mom, you will have a better chance at the book store or grocery store.

I know you can find these types of girls at the bar as well. I have a friend who met his current girl at the bars, and another friend who's engaged to the girl that was the bartender at the bar he went to at school. I also have a friend that used to go to the bars to find a girl, but once he gave that up and looked elsewhere he found a great girl.

  15. I'm going to have to agree with Ted again on this one...

You might be able to find a 'decent' girl at the gym, just like you have a chance of finding a 'decent' girl at the bar. But the majority of girls you will pick up at the gym will be the same type as the ones at the bars.

  16. Barnes and Noble...

+1....I've heard book stores are pretty good places to meet women. And there's quite a few book stores in CO (Barnes & Noble, Borders, Tattered Cover).

I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the meet next Friday. I'm currently working at a client up around 58th & I-25 and I'm not sure if I'll still be up here next Friday or not. If I'm in the office, I'll for sure join you all

  17. What sucks is I've got the car sitting in my garage with a quick-grip clamping one of the eyelines back on with apoxy. I don't have good things to say about stick on mods.

Yeah, the corner of my drivers side eyeline will not stay on the headlight. I finally just decided to just let it do what it does. eventually I might try to get it to stick again.

  18. Hey guys it's been awhile since I've been on the forum. I wish I could meet up with you guys tomorrow (it's been awhile since I've seen some of you -Steve and Adam) but I've been remodeling our main bathroom the last two weeks. The wife and I are expecting so needless to say she has me doing a ton of things around the house before the little one is due.

    It has been awhile...

    Congrats on the little one!!
