  1. Let know if part out the car. I'd be nterested in the transmission. I live in AZ so would be good to finally have something near by. I'll keep my eye on the thread
  2. interested in the 6mt spec b trans. Pretty sure someone beat me to it. But is it the whole swap?
  3. So from the sounds of this, cobb used 05-06 lgt to develop the kit for all 4 gen (05-09) but 07 - 09 are different in some of the connections ?
  4. I've ordered the kit now, should be here next week. But I still need to install the top feed fuel rails and lines from ID... I can't find a guide anywhere on it. I hope its not as hard.. but one awesome thing is Christmas came early this year haha
  5. @smokee_won I thought the spec b only had the 6 speed and suspension upgrades. Or was that only for the 06 spec b? I haven't done much research on the differences.
  6. So does the kit bypass the oem fuel pressure regulator? So then fuel instead goes through the one Cobb supplies? No wonder Cobb took very long to develop this kit. We have a complicated community reading the comments lol @cryo, Is the list only for those who buy through your website?
  7. Why is the Spec B any different in the engine compartment than the LGT?
  8. Good news evwryone. So I was reading through some comments on Cobb's facebook page and heres a reponse to one of the comments. Hope this remains true.
  9. I was gonna travel from Az to Co so I could get it dyno tuned but then that requires a lot of gas money haha but am glad its only $650 for an etune becuase i really want my car tuned from you guys.
  10. Cobb just released some updates for the 2018-19 wrx/sti. Even the Evo got an update. So fingers crossed the Subaru team now has some more time to work on the kit.
  11. We might see this come out by 2019 lol but I have a question for those who know. Do you need to carry a gas containor full of ethanol to switch fuels at the dyno ? Like how would that work if there's no e85 station near the tuner's shop.
  12. Every so often i come check the thread, to ser if anyone has news. But nothing yet....
  13. I assume the residue doesn't build up in port injection vehicles. Well good thing I'm probably gonna run e85 for spirited driving mosty since it cost less than 91oct to have some fun. Regardless, I sent another email to Cobb to see if they had any other updates and from the sounds of it, they want to release LGT and FXT support at the same time. Makes sense, but here's a qoute from the reply when they talked about currently working on it. At least now it's no longer a "no information available". I feel like they're waiting on the FXT to be done and why it's taking so long. Mike thanks for all the great information.
  14. I wish ethanol was more widely spread. I only have 2 e85 stations here in town. Gladly I live near 1. But I was reading some comments on e85 saying that people using flex fuel kits need to change between e85 to a full tank of gas every so often to keep the car running healthy, and that it's best to just run 50/50. How true is that ?
  15. It is why I've bought an 08 wrx for the full support it gets compared to the lgt. Am still hoping some news come out for the kit by the end of next month. This is probably the last thing cobb releases for the lgt. Anyways props for the cryotune's website getting a redesign and oddly in of the dyno tune form sections. There was a question "Who is the best Kardashian?" it's gone now but just thought that was funny. Maybe Dave can comment on that lol
  16. If that's true then that seems desperate to get the flex fuel kit working. I wish cobb had released FF sooner but I can understand its not high in their priority due to the limited amount of MT legacies out there.
  17. Only if cobb had released the FF for the lgt/obxt right after the 04-06 STI release. We could of all said the same thing haha.
  18. Most likely will be $800 with the presure regulartor and $600 by itself. But even if its more I'd be glad to pay the extra bit.
  19. I saw this email from cobb saying "new products for Subaru" got me excited but then just other stuff.... anyways most tuners want actual top feeds since 1000 cc side feeds are just lower CC's but modified so the spray pasterns aren't as consistent.
