Does anyone know if Gen4 and Gen5 coilover are cross compatible? If it is, i'm keeping my flex!

 

I can confirm that they are not, I have a set of tein flex on my 05. The rears are completely different mounting and the fronts have a different bolt pattern on the top hat (rears may have a different bolt pattern too).

 

You may be able to swap tophats as mentioned, but it would be sort of frankensteining things together (I've thought of this...)

Looks like the front brake pads from 2005-2009 are matches to 5th gen lgt's. Here's a couple of part numbers:
