  1. I use the amazon synthetic 0w20 oil. Before that I used Mobile 1. I just hit 90,000 miles and its convenient getting 5 quarts from amazon. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
  2. Mine just started making a cracking noise like you describe this morning when the temp dropped below freezing. It drove me nuts, thought it could be the speaker somehow, but I took out the glove box and found it's the actuator/motor that controls the climate control. That's actually the reason I came across your post, I'm checking to see if others solved the issue since I dont want to replace it only to find out it's not the true issue. Sounds like it's the case though, theres several of these behind the glove box on the side where the cabin air filter is. Follow the noise and unplug the culprit, if it stops you likely found the one that needs replaced. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
  3. Is there a reason the majority of you guys dropping to 16" rims for winters kept the 225 tire width? I went with a 215/65 instead of 225/60, narrower tire will improve ground pressure and the tire load rating is the exact same for Michelin X-Ice.
  4. Stepped down a size to have narrower tires with thick sidewall for winter. Put these on about a month ago after doing a ton of research to determine if 16" rims would fit. Fortunately the wheels fit, but I'm really concerned the wheel balance plates will get knocked off of anything finds it's way inside the rims. I calculated a 3% error from my stock tires, but when travelling my gps and speedometer speeds were both identicle.
