2017 Outback 2.5 Head Unit... 40K... No Eyesight... No Navigation...

 

 

That Wife said her HD quit working... At the Dealership they did 3 Updates... Still no HD... He said it would be $1200 to fix it... I won't say what the old Lady told him...

 

The Wife gets home and the Radio quit working all together, black screen with Japanese text... No rear camera, no nothing...

 

 

She goes back to Subaru this morning and when she pulls up in the driveway the Radio comes on, still no HD... The SA gives her a Crosstrek and she goes to work...

 

 

A few hours later he calls and says he's updated it again, but still no HD... The old lady said screw the HD...

 

 

Anybody have this kind of problem?

 

 

I'm sure I'm gonna have to replace the head unit, just don't know when...

 

 

Any good after-market head units under $1200?

Went ahead and changed tints from 35% to 15%, makes the car look way better!

 

 

Which Grille did you use?

I haven't been able to get them to quit callin'...

I don't worry about for the 0-60 times of a 3.6R Legacy cause it's not a 'Sports Car'... I judge a 4 door sedan by the seat of the pants feel...

 

BTW, I was pulled over last week for the first time in 17 years for speeding... The Cop said I was doing 69mph in a 45 zone... I don't believe I was going that fast, but I was taught at a very young age to never argue with the Police when pulled over...

 

I just shook my head and said with a silly smile, 'It's a New Car and I guess it just got away from me'... He took my License and Insurance, checked me out and came back with a warning slip... He smiled and said, 'New Car or not, try and keep it down, OK'?

 

17 years ago I also got a Warning by being nice to the Cop, but then I really was speeding in the Porsche 911...

 

The 3.6R Legacy is fast enough for me...

 

 

Anybody know what a Subaru Sport Grille costs?

Except the turbo has quite a few parts under high stress, right?

Not to mention the Heat it has to deal with and the extra plumbing...

Yeah, I bought a new 3.6r Saturday and exactly 1 week later, it snows... In lower Alabama... Haven't seen that here since the 60's...
