  1. Anyone have a link to a replacement driveshaft? All I'm finding is for automatic transmission, however I did find a dorman part number 936-906 for 2.2l engines and not 2.5l. Would this still be a direct fit or not?
  2. I was looking at that exact one a month ago and saved it, should have bought it then.... Do you know if those are oil cooler ports on the driver side? I'm hoping not as I would not need them but I guess if they are I would loop it just in case of any internal leaks being a ebay radiator lol
  3. Oh, also looked through the aftermarket parts stickys on the main page and did not see it there either. So if anyone has one, can we get it into one of those stickys?
  4. Looking to see if anyone has a link to a good aftermarket performance radiator, it does not need to have a transmission cooler, but definitely want a bolt in. Mishimoto makes one for first gen turbo legacy's and 3rd gen but not for second gen from what I can find. The desert has been getting very hot lately (114+) and running the AC is a killer for the stock style, as mine has been replaced by a cheap auto parts store before I owned it.
  5. I have a similar issue with mine. Have to use the auto function for it to go down little by little and have to press the switch over and over again for it to go up. I did find a FSM on how to remove the window motor and the regulator adjustment. But I am thinking my motor overheats or overloads and that's why it stops. I did find that the front and rear window motors are the same for LF and LR, and RF and RR. So instead of paying $100+ I am going to pull a rear one from the junkyard since the rears are used less often than the front.
  6. Nevermind, found that 2005 Impreza RS axles that are only 30.25" fit perfectly for this setup. Before it was lowered, the longer 30 11/16" axles worked without binding.
  7. So I have had a 98 Legacy Outback 2.5 5 speed manual that I have been doing a few mods to. It has flat top pistons, 97 heads, 97 intake manifold, all ported by me when I worked at a machine shop. I have also swapped in a 2005 WRX transmission with a R160 rear diff for 3.90 final gear to drive highway speed here in Arizona. It is also on 2006 Legacy Gt wheels, so speedometer is actually **** close. So I finally lowered the car using the 2005 WRX struts and Tein lowering springs and sits exactly where I want it. But now it seems like the front axles are binding at any speed above 15mph. I have been using the WRX front axles but now I'm thinking they may be too long and possibly need shorter for the ride height it is at now. Any ideas which axles I should use that works with WRX transmission and Outback hubs? I will post some pictures of this build later as I know most of you will want to see this grandpa wagon
