  1. Some kid driving down the road hit my 2005 Outback XT (Auto) and totaled it, so I've got a bunch of miscellaneous things to get rid of. I'm in Alexandria, VA. Prefer not to ship if possible, but can ship certain items (see below). * P-204UH Head Unit - $175 * GROM SUB08U3 AUX Adapter with Bluetooth extension - $100 (gives you aux in for the P-204UH) * Arkon 18” Gooseneck Phone Mount - $15 * Programmable remotes, 2 are new and 2 are used. 1 used one probably does not work (water damage) - $25 for all. * Rubber Cargo Area Cover (Subaru brand - see pic) - $10 * New In Box Subaru Battery Warmer (J6010FS000) $10 * New In Box Subaru Inner Joint Assembly (28392AG00C) $40 * Used SPT Turbo Heat Shield (E771SFG500) $20 FREE - YOU MUST PICK UP * Owner Manual, Etc in Case (Fits in Glovebox) * Front suspension control arm bolts, Left and Right (901370006 and 901370009), with 2 castle nuts (23212010) and 2 cotter pins (51030300) * Various other little items (like what I think is a heat shield for an OEM downpipe) - if you are interested in some free stuff let me know and I can give more details. GONE * Cobb 524212 Legacy GT 304 SS Downpipe w/Cat (Auto Trans) - About 1250 miles on it. I have the original box, so shipping is doable - $350 * Cobb Accessport AP3-SUB-002 with case and protective film - Excellent condition (looks new and is not installed) - $400 * WeatherTech Mat Set - 1st and 2nd Row, includes unknown brand (non-Subaru - see pic) cargo area mat - used and logos are missing - $50 * OEM Underseat Subwoofer (H630SAG000) - $75 * New Subaru Weather Floor Mats - $20 * New Subaru Under Cover (56410AG06F) $20 * 2 Standard Mufflers (1 for each side) - Heavily used but still functional when I took them off
  2. I hear you on the hills. About 20 years ago I drove from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City in the summer and hit about 125mph on a long, straight (but hilly) road a little outside Vegas. I thought it was cool at the time but now realize it would have been a bad thing to break down, blow a tire, etc. in that heat and in that location. Car at the time was a 91 BMW 325ix, though. It was a total beast and handled all the dumb stuff I did to it with no complaints.
  3. Wait, which car? The one you put all the work into (red) or this new one you're working on for the friend (white)? If the red car, sorry dude. You put a lot of work into that.
  4. I had a similar issue arise (albeit intermittently) with my 05 OBXT and OCV valves also resolved it for me. New, OEM OCVs. And I got them pretty cheap online from Perry Subaru (https://www.subarusource.com/).
  5. Too bad you were wrong. All the teams I sort of like lost this weekend. Guess I'll hitch my wagon to the Seahawks now since I at least went to high school there.
  6. Do these two things have anything to do with each other? Lol.
  7. So was your lease offer good for the Impreza? It seems like they aren't that competitive at the moment based on what the dealer near me (NoVa) said. And with the other increased costs vs. buying a used car (higher taxes, insurance, etc.) it's like Subaru is steering people away from leases. I have the stupid personal property tax to deal with here in VA that you don't have up in MD, though. (Or am I wrong and you guys also have that?)
  8. Congrats! These cars look so nice with the dark window tint like you've got there.
  9. Is it possible mileage will improve a bit once it switches back to summer gas later this year? I see that rockier is in Las Vegas, though. Do you guys even get winter gas there?
  10. I second the Lexol suggestion. But it doesn't really work that well unless you lather it up well, sort of like soap. This is a video of a guy doing a full seat cleaning, but it gives you the idea of how lathered up it should get: I couldn't understand why people liked Lexol so much until I learned to get a good lather going. The directions on the container aren't so clear.
  11. I was about to say that it doesn't look too legit, but there's video:
  12. Here's a non-video reference: https://www.driven2automotive.com/blog/warning-beware-of-updated-fake-ngk-iridium-ix-spark-plugs-how-to-spot-them-august-2017/
  13. What about a new one? Should I be comfortable with a brand new Ascent off the lot, or should I wait for this issue to be resolved?
