  1. Negotiating got me to $250 over invoice and then an Ambassador coupon brought it to $250 under.
  2. I was able to get to below invoice on my 2017 Forester that I preordered when they were still clearing out 2016s. Subaru doesn't typically over-produce like many of the bigger makes do so there's usually not a ton of inventory to clear out. They started the 2017 Legacy incentives at least a month ago and the 2018s won't be here for at least another 3-4 months. You should be able to get with a couple of % of invoice on your 2018 no matter when you order it.
  3. @Fraugher - agreed! It's one of my favorite things on my FXT. I really wish/hope that the new 3.6R revisions to the driving experience make it a car that a WRX owner can grow into. On paper it's as fast as my '04 XT which was quick enough for me these days.
  4. I wish the car manufacturers would leave/allow GPS to the smartphone app developers. I use Waze and love it but I don't think CarPlay or Android Auto support it - the latter rather suprising that it's taking this long.
  5. @subiefan15 - sweet! Take some pics and share'em if you can!
  6. Yeah, hopefully they get that sorted - it's a nice looking stack otherwise IMO. Anyone here heading to the Chicago show this week where it will debut?
  7. ^^^we got that same response regarding the Forester head-units. It's a shame Subaru can't invest the time into programming unless it's a hardware issue. Several other manufacturer's are going back 5+ model years and offering upgrades.
  8. It'll be between this and an '18 WRX. What I like about the Legacy: Not boy racer. Center stack is clean. The LED headlights (same as my Foz). They're good but I find I need to leave them in Auto-High Beam mode to see well on twisty/hilly backroads. Apple CarPlay. Rear heated seats for the kids. Stitching on the dash Dual USB ports in the rear - again for the kids. Hopefully the retuned ECU deals with some of the complaints I've read about here. I wish it had SI Drive. Also hoping the retuned suspension reduces body roll without increased harshness. Not thrilled that the 3.6R will get the high-gloss black dash trim - it's a fingerprint magnet that shows light scratches... I'll miss the heated steering wheel if it in fact doesn't have that option - it's one of those things that was a "meh" feature when I read about it but that I absolutely love in the cold weather.
