My car has voice activation, but when burnt 10 is in, it keeps saying check in disk.

Have 2011 Legacy radio with cable to rear camera. Where does it connect to the rearview mirror. Have morrow with dimming, garage door, assume it would work, but can't figure how signal gets to the mirror.Has amplifier too.

Replacing navigation unit with regular 6cd radio. Will it still show backup picture?

Have a Legacy Limited going to remove navigation for regular radio. Will the back up camera still plug in and work?

I did as you explained. When I tried nav worked fine, but voice control keep saying checking disk. Went back and took files from old nav disk that were not on the new disk. Still did not work with voice control of radio. Any suggestions?

Great mod thanks for the info. What are the colors of the seat heater control wires you tapped. How did you wire it, if you used the plug for power?

LIGHT IN THE CUBBY

I found there is a rubber plug in top of The opening under the climate controls. I ran a wire to the glove box light for power and on with night lights. Found a rubber plug I had that fit the hole, stuck the wire through it. Made like a recessed light. Fed wire back above glove box taped there, then left through hole on left side of box rear. Then through radio opening. Had to pull radio, nav trim, like when you remove radio. Blew the fuse once, was number 18 under the hood. Allumination, 10amp. Used thin hard wire to do the fishing through, then pulled wire.

Tried new update, burned to dual dvd. Maps work fine, but voice control of radio, keeps saying, Checking disks.
