So is it advisable to replace only one stock injector if you are recording P0302's?
Mine moved from P0302 to P0304 after I swapped.

Thanks for the great post!

Interesting!

Good write up - I needed it today!
I had a heck of a time getting the driver rear coil pack back on the plug - I kept missing it somehow!?!? I probably spent 30-45 minutes just trying to get that sucker back on.
Also, I did remove the rubber from the plug socket for the passenger rear plug - there is no way I could have gotten my socket back out if I didn't!? I barely got it out of the driver rear after putting that plug back in.
The engine is running smoother now - I had 80k on the stock plugs - bad owner!

When I drive around lately, I look over that vent thinking, man, it really would be nice to see my boost and AFR over there! lol

Definitely tell them about it.

My switch wouldn't work a couple weeks back, made a funny plastic noise when I pushed it and then wouldn't work. I tried a few times more to no avail, then I locked and unlocked the windows several times (button by the driver window button) and hear another funny plastci noise, then the driver window buttom worked, has been working since. I will bring this up at my next trip to the dealer.

You can't close and active thread!?

True^, I used to have Hog, now I have CBE.

I have stock rotors (which Subaru replaced once) and Endless SSMs. My problem is vibration starting when I do, say, three or four 80-50 mph hard brakes. Not sure if it's the rotors, the pads the heat or what. I just want some good, solid braking at high speeds (not the time you want the car shaking from vibrations). Seems to go away when it cools.
Definitely off topic, but I have this same issue and I also want it to go away. I thought it was the OEM pads? I would think if the rotors were causing it, it wouldn't go away after cool down.

Thanks all.

I think I got it from the link on post 129.
Neato pix.
Is there an index for these pix somewhere?

Are the links dead? I couldn't get 2005 vacation pix.

So now I have to bump this thread to get Hogster to 1000? What does that do to my $0.64 investment? What value to I place on my time to make this post? I may have to re-evaluate the cost of installing this modification.
Back pressure??? Less is better after the turbo.

Congrats on the car. I have an '05 GRP and love it. It's NOT a perfect car, but I appreciate all its quirks. I installed the hawgzaust to improve clutch engagement.

I noted that they were all the same price, but they all had different descriptions.
Thanks for the info.
p/n 44022AA180 btw.

I was on subaru genuine parts dot com.
I typed in the part number from the sticky and I got like 7 results.

Where do you all buy your gaskets?
I went to one website and typed in 44022AA180 for the turbo to DP gasket and I got like 8 different gaskets???

Got sound clips but can't figure out how to post them. Today it sounded even better...not sure why? It even seemed to have more low end power before the turbo kicks in...is this possible?
I think the ears have a definite impact on the butt-dyno!

its getting more tempting, hopefully i will hear it in person sometime soon.
It sounds pretty good, not perfect though. For the price you can't beat it. If you are curious, just give it a try. If you don't like it, you will have invested about 30 minutes of your time by the time you get the washers back out.

Well, I've had the mod for like 2 months now...6 weeks driving time (was gone for vacation for two weeks). I love the sound for sure. I have noticed though, that I am getting some soot related discolorations underneath. It isn't much. The flanges are black...which I think is expected. The undercoating under the gas tank definitely is getting darker (only around the area around the flanges). Does anyone know if this will harm anything? I don't care if it turns black, I just don't know if soot eats away at anything though, which is my primary concern. If it does, I don't mind buttoning it up...it will just give me more motivation to get a full cat back
I think that's the bottom of your spare tire well, not your gas tank.
