  1. For me, the steering wheel will be dead straight and the car will veer either direction, essentially randomly. I don't know how else to describe it. This is my first car with electronic steering and if this is what electronic steering is, well then, it sucks.
  2. I just want to make it known that first, I had the problem, then I came onto the internet to look for forums. That was the only reason I even am a member of this forum, to see if others have experienced what I am. Apparently, there are a number of us. legacysteering, I ordered the 20mm sway bar last week. It's upsetting to me to see that it did not make a difference in your situation. I don't have too much hope for mine now. I will probably install it, see if it makes a difference in my car, then if it doesn't work I will probably proceed to trade it in as I had planned to keep this car for a LONG time and I won't be able to tolerate the wandering car.
  3. Sorry about that, brain fart. Here's the link below. http://subaruonlineparts.com/subaru-legacy-rear-20mm-sway-p-4225.html
  4. Just FYI and to clear up any confusion (at least I had). The Subaru website now lists the 20 mm rear sway bar for the Legacy. It IS the same part number as the XV Crosstrek listed above however. Hope this makes sense.
  5. Hmm interesting. I may be trying this then. I want to try to keep this car so this will be my next step.
  6. I'm wondering the same thing. Want to run a winter/summer set-up. Anyone out there 'been there, done that?' I'm specifically wondering about how to program the sensors to be read by the car. Dealership? or can any place (like Pep Boys) do them?
  7. They took it for a 5 mi ride. Oddly, it seems to happen only when I go home from work 5PM. In the mornings to work, it seems to drive well. I think I'm going crazy.
  8. My first post on this forum and it had to be on this thread. Anyway, my car is doing the same thing at highway speeds. It will randomly veer either direction even though the steering wheel is dead straight. I just took it to the dealership today and they simply said they couldn't reproduce it and that it may be due to the alignment. So they aligned the toe on all 4 corners back into spec. They were not that out of order. So frustrating. It takes the enjoyment out of driving this car. I love every bit about it but the steering response. I will either have to put up with it or just trade it in.
