  1. Hi there guys I own 97 subaru legacy gt sedan and I need two new front INNER door panels, and I was wondering if the wagons around the same year are interchangeable with the sedan? Called Subaru and they don't even know, I am physically limited so before I go out to the junk yard and attempt to get some door panels if they don't have a sedan out there because sedans are pretty rare around my parts) will the wagon suffice because wagons are way more readily available it seems. If anybody could let me know I'd appreciate it!

  2. I have a 97 legacy GT that seems to be losing power when I accelerate she has a hard time getting up and going at first and then she'll smooth out and the same seems to happen when she's trying to shift from time to time especially at the lower speeds she is an automatic and I've had my spark plugs and coil pack replaced already but I don't know I was thinking maybe it might be my O2 sensor? Not quite sure though hopefully it's not a sign that my transmission is starting to go out. Any ideas on what it could be would be greatly appreciated no check engine light on.

  3. Right! I'm finally going to dive back into doing some research myself. Thanks for the great insight brother! Much appreciated. I had to take my turbo off causing a lot of issues when I first purchased the car and when I had the motor rebuilt and never hooked it back up because of the issues it was presenting to my car, with that said I've been running stock intake for a while and albeit it's not as quick to the go, it's actually enough for me as it is, since I'm not out fast and furious stylin her hahaha. That's where that weapon R dragon intake comes in. They look sleek and make the car sound a lil more aggressive, but I'm going to do more research as you did before I commit.

  4. I own a 97 legacy GT. I've had a weapon R intake for quite some time and I was wondering if it was really okay to put on the car. I've heard from some people  it'll make the check engine light come on because the car is running lean. Others have said you shouldn't really tamper with your stock intake just let it be. I'd like to hear others opinions. Let me know guys thanks!

  5. Yeah I've researched in a little bit well when I have my shocks and struts replaced next week I'll have them take a peek and see if they can pinpoint where the leaks coming from hopefully it's not coming from my heads cuz so far I'm not losing any coolant or it's not changing color as of yet and my oil even though it smells like oil when it burns I'm not losing a tremendous amount just a smidgen if that, up to this point

  6. Hi there guys I have a Subaru legacy gt bd sedan with a custom JDM bumper on it as pictured below. I have been looking for a guard for the bottom of the bumper and the sides because it sits so low no matter if I go over a dip slow or turn slow it's still scrapes every once in awhile and I just had it painted and I was wondering if anybody knows it any lip guard diffuser that I could purchase so I can put on the bumper so I protect it. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!

  8. Hi there guys I ended up getting into a wreck and my back bumper on my legacy GT sedan got all messed up... except for the lip my buddy has 96 legacy L sedan he's parting out and the rear bumper looks almost identical to my GT bumper except the legacy L doesn't have the rear lip on the bumper, I haven't a chance to go look at it yet. But if I swapped legacy L bumper would I be able to put my GT rear bumper lip on the rear legacy L bumper?
  9. Thanks man I appreciate the pictures I thought speed center too was inside the transmission? Shows you how much I know haha... my codes though p1540 and p500 I have been told that p1540 means speed sensor 2 is going bad and that p500 is speed sensor 1 so I wonder if that means both my sensors are going bad but then other people have told me that p1540 just means speed sensor malfunction but then again I don't know which one is actually throwing the p500 code I just might have to replace both of them I guess
  10. Hi there guys I check engine light came on and I was finally able to get a scanned and both the p1540 and the PO 500 codes came on I know they're both speed sensor related but where are these located on the transmission mine the 97 2.5 with an automatic transmission if you could let me know where this sensor that's causing the problems is located or both sensors I know there's two but I'm not sure if I could identify which one is actually causing the problem I would really appreciate any idea where the location is at so maybe I could go out to the junkyard in pull one off another subie? Any help would be greatly appreciated
  11. Hi there guys a 97 legacy gt automatic and it keeps dying on the freeway it'll go for a couple hundred feet and then just stall out my speedometer will quit working my ABS light will come on on the dash and then the check engine light will pop on and then everything will just die and it'll start up just fine but like I said it'll go another couple hundred feet and then same thing speedometer will freak out ABS light will come on dash lights will get them and check engine light will comeI know I made another form about the PO 500 code could this be what's causing my car to stall on the freeway and the speedometer to freak out and then quit working altogether and then my dash lights get down and then the ABS light comes on they dash and then the check engine light and then it dies could it be my transmission speed sensor?
