Look for one that is made for the STI 6 speed or 2015+ wrx 6spd.

Thanks for the info. Will any that work for this work for my car? I ordered one online but it doesn't have the counterbore, does it need it?

I want to get a new shift knob. The car has the reverse lock and I want to make sure the one I get on eBay will fit my car. I pick up the car tomorrow. I am super excited for my first car (also never driven a manual).

Will all 12x1.25mm knobs work in my car? On eBay, there are a lot of knobs that say they are compatible with the 2010 Subaru Legacy but from the pictures it doesn't look like they're counterbored for the reverse lock.
