  1. Any Boston area people? I’m new to the subie world and looking to learn about what everyone is doing to theirs. I’ll provide beers (or sodas [emoji6]) !

Welcome! I noticed you’re an accountant. Do you work in the public sector?

  2. I saw savethewagon’s wagon at Larz Anderson. Truly beautiful ride. And a great guy to boot.

It was great talking to you man, your wagon is thing of beauty too. Let me know if you go to anymore local shows this year.

Meets outside the bass pro shops parking lot, you can't miss it when you drive to Gillette stadium, there's signs everywhere. Starts at 4 and goes until around sun down.

  4. Do share, I'm not familiar. Wouldn't be able to this week though!

The cruise night is essentially a car show that runs all summer and into the fall every other Thursday. There are hundreds of cars, mostly old school cars but there's a pretty large tuner section. You will even see some supercars.

  5. Damn it. I just got mine from JP. Wish I had known there was one state side. Anyway, did you try and fit it up or no? I'm wondering if I'm the wagon if you can slide it all the way in vs the sedan where I think I need to remove the threaded nuts that are welded to the chassis in there or the tunnel area is a little bit bigger on the wagon so the end pieces can just go over them.

My bodyshop had to modify it to fit on my wagon.

  6. If you need paint/body work, a solution may be to actually delete the mounting points, rather than a delete cover plate.

You do realize that an S402 bumper won't work on a USDM car unless you have JDM fenders, grille and headlights, too?

Yes I have everything for the front end conversion, thanks. Just trying to find out if any brands make a license plate delete kit that works with this bumper.

  7. On mine im running the plate using Bolts, nuts, and washers.

If youre going to delete the plate just have a body shop smooth it over. Looks much better that way.

Where did you get your fenders from?

To smooth it out would be too much work due to the size of the bump out so that won't be an option. Fenders came from our good friend Randy.

  8. Hi everyone,

I am in the process of getting my s402 front bumper installed and have been trying to figure out what to do with the license plate holes. Filling the holes isn't an option because the bumper comes with a rectangular bump out for the license plate to mount to. I have been looking at license plate delete kits from Perrin and grimmspeed, but I'm not sure which kits will mount nicely in the rectangular bump out on the bumper. Do any of my jdm folks have some advice on a kit to use?

    Thanks in advance,

    Brett

  10. where in the south shore? The Subaru Shop is in my home town and I've never had a chance to stop by. I've been meaning to, only discovered it recently

I am currently in south Weymouth but moving back to Dartmouth this month. If you need work done I'd highly recommend the Subaru shop, they know their stuff.
