Are you still getting those Ticking noises??

Anyone have luck finding like... Metal/Aluminum Scuff plates?

My car started burning/losing oil around 12k miles. Didn't know until 15k when the low oil light came on and it took 3/4 qt to top off. Since then I've been adding about 1/4 qt per 1k miles.

 

I contacted SOA in hopes of getting the acceptable "spec" for oil loss. They say up to 1/3 qt per 1200 miles (~0.28qt per 1k). So I'm going to my dealer Thursday to start a consumption test...not fun:(

 

I'm coming up on my 12k mark, hopefully I don't have this problem...I've been checking the dipstick religiously and I believe it's all good so far...

I am quiet surprised this thread hasn't been stickied, there is alot of excellent information in here... Also, I have a message on facebook from DiodeDynamics that legacy/crosstrek C-Light upgrades are in late stages of development. Just a big heads up...

My brother just installed sequential taillights on his '16 WRX STi... I wish our Legacies had those....

Does any one make those eye lids like the STI guys have, that delete the orange marker at the end of our headlights?

Hey guys! Just joined the forum! My names Jared from NJ, I've had my subaru legacy since september 30th, of 2014.

Even though it's a 2.5i, it always drives and handles like a champ! did couple things here and there visual wise, but nothing related with performance yet.

While I was going through our picture threads, I didn't quite see any of our subies in their natural habitat! So here are some of my pictures of my legacy.

 

Very cool Jared, Literally. Also, nice Matte black grill- how many layers of Plastidip is that? You've also darkened your emblem. nice!

Just installed the Philips 4300k from XD, they are excellent, super bright. Now I have to replace my fog lamps because I hate that they pretty much project the shoulders...

Yes I did go with the Philips 4300k. It was difficult really to compare between that and the 5000k (non Philips?)
