The only thing I noticed was the mirrorlink update but it's worthless. If I didn't do it myself I wouldn't have wasted my time at the dealers

I'm not sure why the dealers are having such a hard time doing these updates. The directions are straight forward with the exception of file 2 not taking the first time

Now that I have it, the screen is a little laggy in response, the backup camera is back to taking a while to engage/disengage, and I'm no longer getting text and calls showing up on the HU even though the BT was re-paired and everything is set up correctly. Nice update!
Did both files update correctly

I've had really good luck with the stock GY LS2. I mean at 37k but will probably replace them next season

Looks like the 2nd half of the update didn't complete; CAN is still at 14.0012. What Version ID is present for the DB (or BackupDB) module?
Just do the second file again. It never takes on the first try for some reason

It don't think it's the dealer messing up for the second update not applying right. I did mine myself and had to update file 2 twice because it didn't take the first time. I just noticed it went extremely quick and the firmware didn't update all the way. Shame on the dealers for not doing the same

Readers that have NOT updated yet:
Can someone check to see if they can adjust the rear camera settings? I can't recall if the update did this or if we could never adjust it?
Home screen/settings/display/camera.. i see all the options for brightness/contrast etc. they are all grayed out. and brightness is max. It is super bright now.
Maybe i had set it a year ago and it was reset and now i dont recall how to lower the brightness again?
I think you have to set the e brake to get to those settings. It was like that before the update too

That's why I said mirrorlink was stupid. It's not a true phone mirroring app even though it sounds like it

Replied to the other thread. Dealer said TSB 15-205-16 Not Applicable to my 2015 3.6R. Was looking forward to MirrorLink 1.1, and not constantly seeing the "Loading" message (and accurate Average Lifetime Fuel ... which has been discussed before, hehe)
Why is your model not applicable? Your 2015 has the same headunit as mine. Same year just 2.5i

It looks like a Ford focus from the back

I had the srf disabled come on when one of my lights didn't work. Poor hid connection. That's why I wired up the relay

I have hids in mine wired to a relay. They are only connected using the left connector due to the relay connection. The srf is not disabled but if you turn them off only the left side is activated with srf.

Any pictures of the setup underneath the car? How does it sound? Part numbers of mufflers & tips used?
It's still pretty quiet. They are two street series MagnaFlow. Tips are built into it so no need to buy a set of tips. It has a low resonance but nothing over the top. I can hear the engine more than the exhaust. Again I did it for the looks. If you want a good sound muffler delete is the way to go but that gets annoying fast

Has anyone dipped the 15 legacy limited rims yet. I was thinking about making them black because my car is black but would like to see it first

Hi I am new to the Subaru world and I'm looking for some advice. I've looked around on here and have not found a clear answer on dual exhaust if it's able to be purchased or it has to be customized. Also I've noticed that some of the part numbers 4 a cold air intake here are four earlier models if anybody can point me in the right direction that would be great thank you for your help
You have to go custom. I had a y-pipe welded and hangers installed on the right side. That and 2 MagnaFlow cost me 600 from a local shophttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161130/21223a4d6fb2fc73c8595de539712d34.jpg

I have 34k on my Goodyear ls2 with a lot of tread left. Overall very happy with the life of the tire compared to other vehicles. When the time comes I plan on getting the continental dws06. Very happy with the dws tires on a 2011 sonata that I had.

A programming cable, laptop and about 20 minutes. Cost will depend if you need to buy the cable (if you can't find someone close that has one). Tactrix cable is $200 and tune is under US$300 - depends what the current exchange rate is as TH charges in $AUD.
Where do I get the tune from

I don't know anything about tuning but am very interested. What all is needed and how much does it cost

I believe the XenonDepot True 9005 Base LED High Beam/DRL Replacement Kit has been discontinued. It appears that XenonDepot has replaced it with an upgraded set called the 9005 Xtreme LED. General update to the tech all around from the description.
Definitely considering this! I'm on a trip to Fargo, ND and while HID low beams make high's almost unnecessary I remembered how underwhelming the highbeams are during the last 2 hours after the sun went down up here I would absolutely love a light bar, but it seems like a really clunky option on what's an otherwise slick front end. Winter is coming though........
You could always put the light bar behind the lower grill. Not sure how much light it will block

Damn spell check, on another note is what it should have said. Don't buy an lg g5. The spell check sucks

I understand the reasoning to always follow the manual. I'm just letting you guys know what I was told, not telling you that my word is 100% the truth. I'm another note, if you choose safelite they use subaru windshields. I'm not endorsing them because their service sucks. It was just easier for insurance reasons
