  1. any 05-09 legacy takeoffs will work for you. I find it hard to believe that you could not find this easily in a search.

i wasnt aware that subaru had different variations of this platform (legacy gt vs outback between 05-09) and neither was my local salvage yard when i mentioned there were differences in the suspension between the two models. i assumed so after reading the thread but just wanted to be extra sure:rolleyes:

If everything about the Bilsteins is good except the rear sag, "saggy butt" spacers are the way to go. They just sandwich between the top of the rear shock and the body. Otherwise, you want 2005-2009 LGT wagon springs and struts/shocks.

i was thinking about spacers but wasnt sure where to find a set, i love the suspension otherwise. was also considering lowering the front a bit to compensate for the rake its really god awful.

  2. ive just joined this forum specifically to post in this thread in hopes to find a better solution for the suspension for my outback.

ive previously had the stock 185k mile suspension replaced with a good used set of tein coilovers off a legacy sedan. although fun for me for a while, it wasnt very smooth needless to say. too harsh of a ride, especially since my wife does drive this car more than i do.

then i found some jdm bilsteins, they fit but i have this sag in the rear like the suspension is lower in the back than the front. i assume this set also came from a sedan.

i see you all have found that legacy gt suspension fits the outbacks quite well, and im pleased to see that and it seems this is the desired setup i have been looking for. but for the life of me i cannot find the specific year and model subaru legacy that you all have sourced your parts from...

can someone please shed some light on this for me? the search is exasperating:spin:
