  1. To call me foolish is a real smart thing to do. I happen to work in the automotive aftermarket industry, and deal with DD on a wholesale level. I know them very well.

The fact is that my comment was a joke. So calm down. I have had their parts on cars before as well as on SEMA builds that have won design awards. The facts are that as of late (past year or so) there has been a higher frequency of part failures or malfunctions. That is a pretty easy thing to find on any forum.

Review what you like, what you say about the product is your right to free speech. What I said was not slanderous or lecherous so take a chill pill.

    Rant over.

    Holy emotional response, batman.

My comment was merely saying that it would be ill advised to talk down about a company with such positive reviews across the board.

I think it'd be best for you to reread my comment, involve yourself in some critical thinking, and then evaluate the fact that someone may be pissing in your cheerios when you get up to go find the milk.

    Happy spring.

  2. It would be foolish to question the quality of Diode Dynamic's products. If you've ever received anything from them, as well as anything from their competition, it's easy to see that Diode Dynamics is leaps and bounds ahead of them, especially in terms of quality.

That's the reason my car is completely decked out in Diode Dynamics lighting (Full interior, tail as turn kit, C-LED's, demon eyes, as well as quad reverse lights) I should have my review of the XP50/XP80 quad reverse lights up tonight / tomorrow :)

  3. I'm saving up for a set of 20" Vossen wheels. 19's are too small for me, 19 tires are sometimes pricier than 20's due to the odd / less common size.

These are the wheels I've decided on..

Despite being 20's opposed to 18's, they're 6 pounds lighter per wheel than the factories.

  4. Well, I have officially begun tuning with XRT last night due to the lack of communication from Throttle happy.

What I can say is, in the short amount of time (weeks) he's been tuning the 6th gens opposed to throttle happy (years) he's already surpassing his tunes.

My previous tune with throttle happy was extremely, well, throttle happy.. The car was jumpy, hyper sensitive, there wasn't much drive ability at all.

My first night with XRT, he loaded a rom into my car, I drove around while he monitored the vehicle, had me pull off into a parking lot, made adjustments, and loaded an updated rom into the car.

Last night there were more roms loaded into my vehicle than throttle happy has loaded in six months.

As PDREALTOR has stated, there is a glorious rom that has some kinks to be worked out, but as far as acceleration it's a really really huge increase than anything I've loaded into this car before.. I'm very excited to continue working with XRT, and encourage you all to do the same.

  5. I didn't want to create a new thread after searching I hope this is the appropriate place.

I am in the process of ordering the 22mm RSB from Cusco but a Subaru Tech advised to buy a brace as he sees a bunch of broken and warped mounting parts come into the shop on the older Legacy's.

I didn't want to go back and ask him but before I do so does anyone here know if this will fit our cars?

The Whiteline bar comes with braces already.

  6. When I was recently down under, I noticed the Liberty (Legacy), has different rear headrests vs. the US model.. Both sides match the middle headrest, they are just slightly larger and make more sense than the U.S. spec ones.. It also increases rear visibility because they aren't sticking up like dog ears in the U.S. model.. Any idea where to purchase? I had asked the vendor I bought my 20mm sway bar from and he told me that they don't have access to products listed for other markets or regions? I haven't been able to find a pic yet to show what I'm talking about.. Just try to picture 3 headrests just like the low profile one in the middle.... Thanks

Good luck getting them here, shipping alone would make it not cost effective, but to each their own.

  7. Not sure... But in my area the "Dealers" seem a bit sketchy... One of them hasn't updated their website since 2013. I'd be in but I'm not in a position to have the car down for a week or more.

My buddy will be doing mine for me with the demon eyes at the same time. Total downtime will be 4-6 hours.

  8. I am kind of nervous now...reading through this thread again. I bought the 20mm bar and it was delivered today, but now I feel like I should have gotten the WL 22mm bar. I guess I'll install later today when I get come.

I bought my WL 22mm used, paid $20 more than I would have if I bought the 20mm new. ZERO decrease in ride quality and a huge decrease in body roll. It's a win win.

One thing the Whiteline does is it has stabilizer bars that attach to the rear control arms, which further increases stability and stress on the end links. The 20mm doesn't do that.

  9. Changed out the stock HID bulbs to Morimoto 5500k bulbs. Can wait to see the difference tonight. Now what to do with the C light. Now have Morimoto LED fogs and LED 9005 High beams to go along with my new HID's

Please keep us posted. I never thought of changing out just the bulb and not the HID system entirely. Does the Morimoto run okay off of the stock ballast?
