Can you post some pictures of your setup?

So, no check engine light, because I read somewhere that cutting the shift cables gives you a CEL. Is true?
-
Question, so if I cut the cables for the shift I'll have the wheel working properly (illumination and everything?)
-
mvigneau, nothing really special. Trabbic's instructions are good. I do have the .pdf on getting to the radio, but I'm not sure how to post it. I tried attachng it, but it was too large. I did cut the shifter wires and haven't had any lights as of yet.
Can you send me the pdf file? I'll post it.

I used
1. Heatgun (oven will save you some time)
2.Vice Grip (for the weird shape screws)
3. Flat screwdriver
4. Phillips screwdriver
5. 10mm socket
6. sealer
and most important
7. a lot of patience
