  1. So today started out great, ended real shitty pretty quickly. Safe to say I'm NEVER using discount tire in reno ever again!!

These guys tried to play me like a fool, The manager Dave tried to say it was shipping and his machine could never do this. Straight to the point Discount Tire bent my rim, If it wasn't for the red paint transfer/scratch that I caught. I would be buying a new rim. I was trying my hardest to keep my cool with Dave, after I pointed out the paint transfer from his machine he agreed to 100% replace my rim. This was about 45min ordeal. My WORST nightmare came true, now with all the fake wheels floating around I need to study up wish me luck. If anyone knows how to spot fakes please let me know.

    help a brother out!

Here are some pics that will make you sick to your stomach.

Maybe ill make a awesome little coffee table with my bent rim. FML

Also I'm never buying muteki lug nuts. cheap ass paint is flaking off and I just took them out of the box. Im over today lol

  2. The All seasons? Post-up what you think of them once mounted, please.

yes, i still plan on grabbing a set of snow tires.

but what I'm looking for is great traction dry/wet minimal sidewall flex and a "quiet" tire. jesus i seem to find all the loud ass tires hahaha i probably won't notice I'm so use to road noise now.

I'm still shopping for prices ... hope in the next 2 weeks should be mounted and good to go. then NEXT suspension

  3. Nothing technically voids the warranty, per the Magnusson Act they have to prove it helped contribute to the malfunction of the vehicle. The crank pulley being such an integral part of the system could be an easy place to point to in the event of an error.

ah very true, i just haven't dove into this engine enough. Ive done it in my last car.

  4. Has anyone had any luck with aFePower Coupon Codes???? I'm looking at their Takeda intake for the 16 Legacy 3.6r but $311 seems kind of steep for an intake... There's an Easter code but it only takes off $15 bucks lol.

EDIT: After live chatting with a customer service rep from a different vendor I was able to get the price down to $256 which he claimed was wholesale price. It's amazing what cracking a few jokes can do :p

    $256!! from...

Wheels: 2016 WRX Enkei 18x8.5's like a few others have done

Tires: 255/45R18 Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season

Wheels look amazing, picked them up off Craigslist with stock WRX tires which I'm selling.

Tires were on closeout from Tire Rack, as far as I can tell they're smooth, quiet, and handle excellently. Will report back when I have more time on them.

255 is over an inch wider than stock and it looks mean!! From the back it looks very German sedan like width-wise. Much more muscular and sporty:cool::wub:

I was worried about tire fitment, however they fit perfectly. 255/45 is as large as I could possibly go (at least with +55 offset). No rubbing on the shock tower plate that sticks out over the tire - just enough space to allow sidewall flex without hitting it.

255 is sexy, I'm planning on 255/40/18 tire
