  1. Wow! That's super cool! Great looking color - I'd buy one.
  2. Ha, amazing. That's the one. Do you know any history on it? Produced 04-04-2006. The next '07 CADM Spec.B wasn't produced until 07-11-2006.
  3. 28 SWP 2009 Canada delivered. 20 DGM 2009 Canada delivered. 40 DGM 2008 Canada delivered. 38 QSM 2008 Canada delivered. 138 DGM 2007 Canada delivered. 1 BSM 2007 Canada delivered, probably a press car or test car because it's a very early VIN as well, produced much earlier than the rest of the 2007 Spec.Bs.
  4. In the US, model years are offset. The next model year cars are available in the fall, so the manufacturer is beginning production even earlier than that. Subaru produced the bulk of the 08 Spec.Bs from 03/07 to 04/08. Your car as an 04/07 date would've been somewhat early, but there were over 150 '08 Spec.Bs produced by the end of April '07 already. The JDM "Type" designations do refer to small changes throughout the production of a JDM vehicle generation. Sometimes the JDM Type designation does not match up to a USDM car's production date exactly. Someone here who is more well-versed in the differences between JDM and USDM can probably tell you more. If you give me the last 5 digits of your VIN I can tell you exactly what sequence number and day your car was produced.
  5. The numbers I posted were US-delivered cars only. Here's Canada: 265 total cars delivered from 07-09 139 in 2007 78 in 2008 48 in 2009 I didn't have time to do the color breakdown for these ones.
  6. What spec is your Legacy Turbo? (Year, Color, Transmission) You can find production numbers for those cars here: https://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=55849
  7. My bad, I was excluding Canadian VINs when I looked up my 2005 GT wagon. My numbers do match yours. Oddly, I checked and saw this after your mention of 5MT GT Wagons in '06: 61 '06 GT 5MT wagon VINs 12 '07 GT 5MT wagon VINs 15 '08 GT 5MT wagon VINs 3 of the '06s are US VINs, all the rest are Canadian.
  8. Aha, I always wondered where those numbers came from. Interestingly enough, my 2005 numbers don't quite agree with yours. They're close on every option combo I check, but not exactly the same.
  9. Ruby Red Metallic is a great color! It's also the rarest of all Spec.Bs, so don't wreck it. I had a request for 2007 GT wagons as well, and it turns out that they are almost as rare as 09 Spec.Bs. Pretty cool! 161 2007 GT Wagons 22 OBP w/black interior 17 SWP w/tan interior 47 BSM w/black interior 33 NBP w/tan interior 42 DGM w/black interior
  10. They tell you how many records there are for a VIN, but any more info and you have to pay. I was curious about the RBP cars, so I ran them and 0 records which means they were never even titled once. NICB has a free check for salvage records, but they have a CAPTCHA so it's one by one and I have no time to run hundreds of Spec.B VINs through just for a guess as to how many were wrecked. Hey, don't feel too special, my 5-speed GT Limited wagon in OBP with black leather is 1 of 91.
  11. I don't think they were ever sold, there's no registration records for their VINs on AutoCheck.
  12. Just because I have a soft spot for Legacy 3.0R sedans, 226 were recorded to be produced in that color, all with black leather interior.
  13. I have recently extracted the production numbers for all US market Subarus from roughly 1995-2010. The information comes from the parts lookup program with VIN database that Subaru dealers used. I figured a good place to start is with production numbers for the 07-09 Spec.B. Enjoy! 2007 - 450 432 were DGM 16 were BSM (Likely preproduction test or promo cars) 2 were RBP (Likely preproduction test or promo cars) 2008 - 653 380 were DGM 271 were QSM 2 were color code 01W [Premium Red?] (Likely preproduction test or promo cars) 2009 - 112 31 were DGM 28 were QSM 24 were OBP 16 were SWP 13 were RRM EDIT: As requested, Canadian Spec.B production numbers: 2007 - 139 138 DGM 2007 Canada delivered. 1 BSM 2007 Canada delivered, probably a press car or test car because it's a very early VIN. Produced much earlier than the rest of the 2007 Spec.Bs. 2008 - 78 40 DGM 2008 Canada delivered. 38 QSM 2008 Canada delivered. 2009 - 48 28 SWP 2009 Canada delivered. 20 DGM 2009 Canada delivered.
  14. I have recently extracted production numbers from the OEM Subaru parts utility. Here's the numbers according to that source. 2008 Newport Blue Pearl 2.5GT Limited - 293 Produced Manual - 98 Auto - 195 2009 Newport Blue Pearl 2.5GT Limited - 173 Produced Manual - 31 Auto - 142 All of them had tan leather interior.
  15. The relay is easy to find. It's in the fusebox under the hood; if you look at the underside of the lid after you take it off, there is a diagram of all the relay and fuse locations.
  16. These symptoms are the exact symptoms I had when my relay was failing. I bet that's your problem!
  17. Did the A/C work fine before? Have you had it worked on anytime recently? It seems suspect to me that the shop immediately jumped to an overcharged diagnosis since somebody would've had to add refrigerant at some point for it to be overcharged. Is the compressor clutch engaged when it is blowing warm air? I'm an amateur A/C guy with all the proper professional equipment. I had a similar issue that ended up being a failing A/C clutch relay in the fusebox. If I tapped the relay the clutch would kick on, but in normal use it only worked maybe 10% of the time. Replaced the relay, and all is well. Outside temperature gauge behavior seems totally normal to me.
  18. Thank you very much. The translated text is excellent.
  19. I'd be very interested in a parts list for what is necessary to do this job as well. Do you have a reference link for the Impreza rebuild you used?
