  1. You might be just within safe territory with 20mm spacers at stock height. Tough call. Just be prepared to have to insert spring stiffener collars in the rear.

I suspect that a stiffer rear sway bar might also save you from rear rubbing, because I only got rubbing with the 25mm spacers during aggressive cornering, and my rear sway bar was stock back then. I can't help but wonder if I'd have had better luck with the 22mm rear sway bar I'm now running. Anyway, if your rear sway bar's stock and you plan to upgrade, I suggest doing that first before decreasing wheel inset.

FYI, with my current wheels, I'm at the equivalent of 18.6mm spacers, which is definitely safe at stock height, and probably safe when lowered.

Did you get/order the coilovers you were talking about?

  3. Just a note

I installed the new 4inch single wall nameless axlebacks after installing the midpipe from a 3.6r,

I dont know if it was just mine, but one of the axlebacks were longer than the other so one side was poking out more. The shop I went to tried to fix it but there was no way to make it even with the other side unless modifying the nameless exhaust. Might end up doing that since I cant send them back since it was already installed during the process.

  4. Definitely... I was actually gonna bite the bullet and get RS-R coilovers from Japan off of their yahoo auction site but F$&@ that which I was questioning anyways lol guess I'm gonna have to save a couple hundred more for these

Yea I was kinda bummed that there were no coilovers available to us in the states but my wallet will get hit harddd. Glad I dont have to purchase springs

Also I just checked out Flatout Suspensions Instagram account and my god does the 2015 Outback look sexy lowered with the coilovers...

  5. I bought mine brand new (forget the website) and it was for a 2015 and didn't come with a hose at all! Just the intake tube and associated clamps and couplers and the filter and assembly. That's what really confused me. So rather than take the entire stock hose out and replace it, I opted for sticking a few inches on the end.

  6. I bought a brand new one off of another supplier other than aFe Power and the crankcase breather hose was like 3" short. I was like wtf am I doing wrong!? Extra few inches of hose and coupler and I was good to go. Sucked that I had to install my stock intake again to go to the parts store because I already had it out.

Wierd that the hose was 3inches shorter. How long should the hose be? I want to measure mine to be ready when i install it.
