power is still sufficient = 245hp,
eventually I went through TD05 + racing manifold and decat downpipe + programmable ECU Apexi with EcuTek
But more than power, I prefer driving properties and would like to try gearbox with DCCD

Probably should HH was to engage, but on asphalt roads HH not missing me.
On the offroad is HH a good thing in Forester or Outback. One friend used a transmission with HH and the reduction from Legacy, in his Forester (SF) 2.0 STurbo
I had HH in my ex. Impreza, but consciously I used it only in uphill races at the start

original gearbox "TY752VN1AA" doesn't have a Hill Holder and reduction, but has a rear differential with LSD
current gearbox "TY752VB4AA" also doesn't have a Hill Holder and reduction
Hill Holder and reduction have atmospheric version 1.8 ; 2.0 and 2.2

Cruise control was not standard in Europe before year 2000, he was at an extra charge. I didn't have it in my Impreza MY2005.
There's not much straight roads, there is plenty of mountains with hairpin bends and roads with lots of villages.
