Hi all,
So driving across the country. Usually highway driving I get 750-800 km on a full tank.
Filled up before leaving. Around the 1/8 mark and a gas station about 3 mins away and 600 km driving, the car shut down. Fuel starvation of course.
Luckily had fuel cans.
But my question is, has anyone ever have an issue with erroneous fuel gauge reading? Even the distance to empty showed 150 km but I know that's based on current fuel avg burn and fuel in tank.
Problem is the Guage was wrong.
Is there a recall? Is there a simple fix? Or do I need to take it to the stealerships?
