  1. So I was looking for a DIY on how to replace the fog light bulb and couldn't find it so i put together one. Have fun.

Purchased replacement fog light bulb (H3s) from amazon:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006PIKZAQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - $12.95

    1. Jack car up safely

    2. Remove two clips on each side (Driver and Passenger)

    3. Remove fog light housing clip

    4. Remove cover by twisting counter-clockwise, then remove retaining clip on the bulb

  2. A floor jack is your friend for the lower rear bolts. I used mine along with a closed end wrench to get them loose.

I swapped my stock 05 LGT Wagon rear struts for the 08 Legacy 3.0R Bistein struts. Duffman this trick saved me...as I was ready to go to the shop then I found your write up. You the man. Proof again that the LGT community is pretty awesome.

  3. Recently my passenger axle broke and I was thinking if I can replace an axle on a civic, then the LGT should be just as easy. Well it sure was.

I used the article below to help me (Thanks Inigo Montoya):

    TIP:

To separate the lower ball joint from the suspension arm, use some kind of an extension or socket (5/8) to wedge between it and the arm, then drop the arm really fast from the jack and it will slowly but surely separate it.

    OLD vs [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Detroit-Axle-Complete-Lifetime-Warranty/dp/B01BPL94YU?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00]NEW axle[/ame] - $45.46 from amazon..what a great deal...drives like new

The new axle looked different as it was missing the flat shields on both ends....still worked fine for me. I think it will leak a little bit of transmission fluid, but it is no biggie. I will periodically check and top off if needed.

  5. derffred, thank you for posting this. I actually used your post here to help me replace my front driver HBA yesterday. Thanks a bunch.

TIP: Get slide hammer to pull out the HBA if it is stuck or rusted over. PB Blaster is your best friend.
