I haven't gotten much love from QU subi peeps, I know there a blue '11 sedan sti with red flaps I see him all the time not sure if he's QU or just lives in that Aspen Glen area of condos.
That's funny I'm down the hill from there , I'm trying to think of the STI you're referring to .. I know there's quite a couple in my neighborhood .

I tend to wave, I use to toot my horn but since their loud everyone including the subaru would look at me like WTF?!?! Haha. Yup May 4th, 2012. I didn't even know I was on the news till a couple of my friends called me all fanatic recognizing my car on the TV.
That's insane bro , glad you're okay . & honestly there's so many of them especially with the QU kids none besides two have waved back . I'll be looking out for you on the streets for a wave .
-
I'm from the spring glen area, I drive a 07 obxt. I never get any waves from other subarus lol
Bro I hate it so much , I'm consistently waving at every Subaru and maybe once or twice I've gotten a wave of blow back .. & I saw your post with your outback crashing on Mathers Street , I'm so glad you're safe . I remember that accident happening about a year or two ago dude ..

If you can find one with a blown motor that is ideal. Then you can pick it up for cheap, build it from the ground up into a reliable car and save much headache later on.
A year on January 2nd. I haven't driven it since April 18th. Should be having it back with a new motor on Wednesday.
Dang that sucks bro , Honestly you're totally right with that . A lot of people has said that but if that's the case I mind as well keep my Brighton and rebuild the engine on that .

I'm going to be the Downer Debby and forewarn you about maintenance issues with these cars. It can get expensive quickly. Read up on what it takes to own these cars.
This is coming from someone who has sank $8000 in repairs in his because he didn't research or pay close attention to the car he bought. But the right cars are out there, you just have to know what to look for to determine that it's been taken care of properly. Regular ideals of car maintenance do not apply to these cars.
That being said...once you own it you'll love it. I love mine and once It's got its new engine it will be a reliable mode of transportation.
I appreciate it brotha . A lot of people said that . I'm going to continue to read up on it some more . How long have you had yours for ?
-
Thanks!
Pros and cons are all around this forum but I haven't really had any issues with mine. I wouldn't say that my build is complete at all. The ideas haven't stopped flowing. So far I've owned the car a year and 10 months.
Sweet bro that's awesome . I've read up on a lot of other forums but I've also been on Edmonds and read a lot of great reviews . It seems to possibly fit me perfect . Thanks much for advice

Looks awesome bro . I'm looking into possibly acquiring one within' the next couple months . Any pros and cons on this vehicle and how long did it take you to fully build everything ? Any suggestions is much appreciated .

Hey everyone, new to the forum. Thought I'd share my wagon. I call her lagwagon because turbos...
She's a 1999 Legacy GT-B. Brought her to Canada last year. Mostly unmolested, but that's a work in progress to make it not the case.

Well what are you trying to do with the car? Track car, Nice comfortable DD, stanced car, rally car, etc? Everyone is obviously going to have different opinions. If it's going to be just a street car I would pick up a nice set of wheels, possibly some lowering springs, clean up the general appearance, and go from there.
I'm sorry I'm just seeing this . I wish you would've tagged me in it , tbh I want the rally car type feel with a bit of street in the mix . I off course want to make it fast , but I'm currently trying to clean up the general appearance . I just added tints and now I'm focusing on switching my headlight casing out and building from there . Won't be easy but I'm all for it .

Yep, I'm having a hard time getting used to that T word. Torque, I think you call it?
I still have an old lifted GL, so I'm not totally checked out of the subaru world
Oh and my fiancee has a 98 legacy wagon with a 5 speed that I've done a lot of work on. I should post a pic of it in here.
Yes would love to see it .
