  1. I performed this last weekend on my '08 LGT and it works well. To connect the wires I used a razor blade to to cut around the green wire's jacket about an 1/8" and then a light slice going from one cut around the wire to the other so I could peel off the jacket in just a small section. After opening the wires a bit I fed the fanned out wires from the red wire with green stripe through it and then twisted and soldered the connection. Lastly I wrapped it with electrical tape. This also showed me that I have to fix the rear door motor on the passenger side as it's not working. Could be dirty/greasy as I've read or the motor is dead but that's only $8 on eBay for one from the exact company that makes the OEM units and has a 10mm long shaft with flat side like we need.
