Ok I think I finally found it, and it's a factory part.

Pretty sure I'm not going crazy, notice the ridge of the lip compared to the one without. I have found some similar ones but haven't been able to ID this exact lip yet. Either way the JDM bumper is supposedly 2" shorter so it wont work very well anyway.

Forgive my ignorance, I am to the legacy world. Other than the License plate bracket, what is the difference from the USDM bumper?

Man your car looks great! Any chance you could tell me the part number's of the rear fog lights that you removed?

Sorry I'm talking about the silver lip that the black lip is attached to.

Hey guys, first post!

I just pick up an 09 2.5i last night, low miles and a pretty good deal. The lower half of the bumper has some scuffs/damage on each side. So I was wondering if I could find a lip to cover it. I have a few questions, any recommendations? Will a JDM lip fit? Is the JDM bumper exactly the same as the US?

 

Something like this would hide the damage perfectly (silver lip, not the STI lip). Anyone one know what lip this is?
