Yeah perhaps, it claims the dealer will only sell it as a track vehicle... so wondering if it was modified or something. Also possible they don't really understand the value of the car.

Car came back as a one owner, no accidents, and no odometer rollbacks in a Carfax.

Maybe car couldn't pass inspection? From the outside it looks like a fairly clean, low mileage Spec.B.

I spotted #89 for sale in Vermont real close to where I live, If I didn't invest heavily into my current regular 2005 LGT already...

I'm going to go by your username your probably 19/20 years old.

Unless you have some mechanical knowledge, deep pockets, and a second car I wouldn't.

The EJ motors randomly blow up, leaving you with $3k-$4k repair bills for a new shortblock and a rebuild. Leaving you probably a month without a car.

Turbo's can fail, and when they do, you better hope they don't grenade themselves and send metal shavings into your engine. General maintenance will be higher, a N/A legacy will need a oil change maybe every 4k-6k miles. These car's have to have it done pretty much every 3k-3.5k and don't even think about running anything other then synthetic.

Ask a couple members, I'm sure my friend Max Capacity will jump in, he's paid for his car almost 3 times over.

Legacy GTs as they age are turning into a niche car, those who can afford to keep them on the road are, and those are getting fewer and fewer.

#100 was sold to Burman's Mid City Subaru in Chicago.

Really sad to see it go, but it's back on the market soon for anyone looking to buy. Clutch assembly very recently replaced, as a recent bonus, plus an AUX cable mod for stereo. Factory settings, otherwise. No Engine Mods.

I have the funds to buy in cash... but I'm weary of spending 12k on a Spec.B I have no idea how to drive. (never touched a stick in my life)
