  1. Are you planning on having this setup be your DD? Just curious because I am at the exact same point oil consumption wise and am currently just feeding her oil. I have been weighing my options between just doing new EJ257 and a valve job (with my current vf52 & supporting mods), or doing IAG stage 2 block with 1300 topfeed conv and dom 1.5. So I guess I don't know exactly where your setup stands now, but what made you want to go stage 2 block? or just POWAHH. Have you heard good luck with others who daily a setup similar to where you are headed?
  2. To confirm, 10103AC050 PN is for a Subaru's latest EJ257 block? I also have an 05 GT 5spd VF52 wagon tuned by mike at TA. My car seems to have a burnt exhaust valve in cyl 4, although I haven't confirmed yet, at 170k. I plan on re-using my heads and putting in an EJ257 and am trying to make sure im asking for the right part number. I'll be calling a local Subaru dealership soon for pricing. Are there other trusted online vendors that sell new EJ257 blocks? I've seen RSD and flatirontuning sells them...
  3. Dang! Those do look great. Do they do a good job keeping the water from running/dripping into the car with the window cracked/open? Also, I was checking avojdm.com and found these for $161.19 http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?products_id=113 They list the part number "E3617AG010" which is different than what is in the first post. Any insight?
  4. ^^^ loving the engine back of your obxt. Killer B headers too ? Serious question though. I see you are running an aeromotive FPR. Looks like you've capped off one end, forward of the engine bay. I saw a thread on here before showing how to route the fuel lines with an aftermarket FPR and they also mentioned capping off one side. Also, what did you have to do otherwise to make that work? What fittings/adapters did you use? Just verifying what you had to do to make that work. Loving the wagon life.
  5. dang... looks like none are available now. Can't believe I missed this again haha. maybe next time.
  6. Mike is the man! Tuning Alliance has been so helpful and has the best customer service even when I'm asking dumb noob questions so I can learn. They have gone out of their way to help me get the parts that I needed from various vendors in a timely manner and with great prices too! I feel like he's my neighbor?? (even though he's not). Easy to contact, whenever. Has sent me updates to my tune when I was having overboosting issues and now I don't have any (21 psi at 6k somehow?) I mean that's just the customer relations aspect of Tuning Alliance. On top of that, He tuned my VF52 Legacy GT Wagon 5spd. I had to drive down from NH for to be tuned on the dyno at ESP, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the tune. I never thought I'd be putting down 278awhp/284awtq in the wagon so smoothly. Tuning alliance made my first tuning experience easy and he was patient and very knowledgeable (too knowledgeable?? maybe he is an alien??). I learned a ton as we were using my car to compare the GS intake vs stock intake w/ K&N panel filter vs stock intake stock filter. Looking forward to more time with Tuning Alliance as I plan to get a GS TMIC, kiwinuga 14.7psi spring wastegate actuator, GS EBCS, dw65c, dw850cc, fortune auto 500 coilovers, other miscellaneous suspension bits and dyno'd again to see what this IHI VF52 has to offer. Peace and love.
