This is how I leave mine disconnect, put a blue painter tape on to keep it from falling out, this way you don't get crap built up in the connectors.

there's no load detected when in park, sorta strange that both green/blue is hot when in gear, not sure which wire the resistor box cut the load down.

Anyone know where I can find harness that would have plugs/sockets that matches with the connection to the DRL?

  2. Ok hope that this is going to end all squeaky seat problem for everyone.

I was at the dealership and they claimed that there's nothin they can do about it.

Only thig is to replace the entire seat but it'll be difficult to claim for warranty.

He showed me another legacy and it does have the same noise.

    After I got home, I can't help

    But take a look myself.

The source of the squeak is the cable protector for the lumbar support and the seat frame running against each other. Some tape to wrap around he cable protector should do the trick.

There's a zipper on the back so just zip open the left side to access the inside of the seat

  3. appointment tomorrow

but over the weekend, I took a look at the seat.

there's a ZIPPER that opens up the entire back of the seat.

so i don't think it'll be a problem for them to fix.

It should be an easy job for them..

So I'll see how it goes tomorrow. If they can't fix, i'll just put some felt tape on whatever is rubbing and making noise.

Hey SubieN8 and Paradox, if you guys don't want to bring to dealership, maybe you can try opening up that zipper and take a look inside. For me, I'll let dealership give it a try first. if they don't do what I wan them to do, I'll do it myself and probably leave them a negative review depending on how they talk to me.

  4. I think if it were normal, the passenger side would do it too. But his Crosstrek does it in the same spot ours does, so who knows.

yea!! First thing the service rep checked today is the passenger side. thank god it's quiet, else my car would be eeking all the way when i'm driving over bumps and imperfect roads.

  5. It's coming from the upper-middle of the seat, I am sure there is something there that's making the noise. The dealer should be able to fix it - and icen, would you mind posting an update when it's done? :)

Mine is from left side upper back cushion.

My appointment for this is next wednes, just need to have the technician take a look. I'll let you know how it goes. Hope the dealership don't just tell me it's normal and send me home. I'll be so pissed off if that happens.

  6. Sorry, was just throwing it out there, as I thought it was from my seat as well at first.

Could be a loose bracket or bolt where it meets the floor. I'm not entirely sure if there's any springs in the seats or just padded foam alone.

oh no problem man.. I appreciated the help.. i'm at work so need to type and post real quick.. but yeh.. I do suspect some sort of spring.. like you know when you have really old spring mattress or sofa? it's that noise it makes.

  7. oh it's in that thread? it's such a long thread, I guess I missed a few posts here and there.

I just booked an appointment with the dealership and hope that they'll fix it for me.

Just want to see if there's a TSB to see what my chances are.

I do notice it coming and going. I have the Legacy for about a month now, and it came 2 weeks ago.
