  1. Oh, you're the one who got those spats just before I made the payment [emoji35] . LOL. Looking forward to seeing the car in summer mode.

 My apologies, I jumped on them as soon as I saw the ad. I can't wait either, I only had my grille installed when I had them on last year.

How was mounting the spats? I've mocked mind and they need a lot of work. I'm 95% sure the Spec.B did not have different side skirts and rear bumper but none of the mounting brackets line up on mind.

The rears fit better than the fronts, as all the mounting points matched up with holes that were already in my bumper except for one. I put a self tapping screw toward the back of the spat to hold them to the bumper. The only holes that matched on the front were in the fender wells, again I put some self tapping screws through the mounting holes on the bottom. I'm sure it's not the way most people would do it, but it's on the bottom where they won't be seen so I'll live with it.

  2. Super jelly.

My car just need the spats right now and it'll look pretty similar to your car. (except with 18s and regular grille).

Did you paint the spats yourself?

I did not, I picked them up from DK76 and they were already painted. Luckily the BBS' are my winter wheels, I've got my Works that will be going back on once the weather gets better.

  3. Thanks for the info. What made you choose Fortune Auto over other, like BC or ISC? Is it naturally stiffer than the stock SpecB setup?

The vendor I have been buying parts from actually made the suggestion. I liked the fact that they're assembled in the USA, (who knows where the components come from) and that after they are assembled each coilover is put onto their shock dyno to make sure the valving is consistent between the four. I actually had ISCs on my STi, and while they were good for the price they rode much much worse than these do. They're definitely stiffer, but even on full hard it's nothing like my ISCs were as far as making the car bouncy and just generally uncomfortable to ride in.

  4. Wow, very nice. I take it that you had to roll the fenders?

Which coilover system did you go with?

That is correct. I really only had to get rid of that lip inside the fender on the rears, the fronts are perfectly fine. I may still end up rolling the fronts if I decide to go lower, but I really like where it sits because it's not a pain to drive. I'm running Fortune Auto 500 Series with 8k/6k springs.
